great video, especially using rudimentary tools anyone can get. i request 2 things though. first, test this same exact "pump" setup to see how much vertical lift it will achieve. second, test this with a high speed rotary drill such as a rotozip or dremel to see what performance gains or other problems might arise.

As per to the volume calculation the suction inlet holes are not sufficient. Try with a bell mouth.
