Ever wonder what it's like to ride a rocket in the form of an electric mini bike? Probably not, BUT the feeling of doing so lies within this motor, battery and controller set up! In this episode I install the new Sotion FW11 drop in motor! This motor is a direct fit for the Razor RSF, MX and SX Razor line of electric motorcycles. It can also work in other applications with a little fabrication. Join me in this episode as I demonstrate real world testing and drag racing using a Draggy to ensure accuracy and distance.

Did you hook up your 3 speed switch before you did those test pulls? Nothing hooked up to the 3 speed connector on the harness will lock you in mode 2 which is usually set to 75% on your line amps. Or did you turn it down to 140 amps? Curious cause it was set to the factory 200 amps during your vid call with jordan. Shes got an extra 60 amps on tap!
No. I didn’t install a 3 speed. I used the little jumper to bypass the switch connection. Which should put it in the fastest mode, right?
@VoltronWatts yup thats correct, the jumper should put it in mode 3. Definitely strange it was only peaking 140 amps.

@VoltronWatts unless im missing something, at 19:40 your current never goes above 140.
@VoltronWatts also check out your watts, it stays around 10kw. It would be 14-15 kw at 200 line amps.

Bro please let me know what motor you think would be best and fastest. I have a sx500 and currently starting my build I don’t want to buy a motor and be disappointed then end up buying something else. Should I buy a qs138, qs180, the motor in this video, or a hub motor. A guy I know has an 8000 watt qs hub motor for 250$. The Sotion in this video seems like it fits right in with no fab work where as the qs138 I’m not sure will fit without some fab work. If you can man please take the time to just let me know what motor is the best out there. I’ll be running 76 volts. Do you think this would run good on the Kelly kvd from electro and co or should I just buy the ec4p? I love the power curve of the my1020 6kw but I burn them up too much. I mostly stunt don’t wanna extend the swingarm what’s your opinion
I have never ran the FW11 on the Kelly so I don’t have an opinion there thats worth a shit. 😂 I’ve seen many people run the EC4P on the Kelly successfully 🤷

Is sotion working on a mototec motor?

Planning to throw this motor on a shifter kart with 72v with 225 continous amps, im hoping it eats.

How did you order the amorge battery and with which cells do they offer and did you go with?
I order through email or WhatsApp. My batteries are 2170 lishen and Samsung 40t

It would give the wrong signal if you’re trying to hook these up with different controllers. Not a big deal. Can be un pinned and changed per your controller connection

What Kelly controller and what is your battery amp ratings?

Lol man ive neen dbating between a sotion surron motor and swing arm or the fw11 for my 9 year olds bike that i will ride when he is not. Then you keep saying not for a kid. The flipsky i belive eforce said you can gave multiple tunes setup for say kid or mom or dad and you just click the profile for each rider
Yup, that’s why in the video I had in text “unless you turn the power down” I wouldn’t let my kid ride it. if you can control the power tho, then it doesn’t matter 👌 let em rip!

Amorge batteries have been great and many more will say the same in the modified razor community. You can order them with a metal case now for $20 extra I believe. Good stuff 🤙
