    I literally stumbled on this channel a little over a month ago, and in all seriousness my entire world has been shaken. I've been binge-watching these incredible videos, and doing additional research on top of that. I cannot fathom the level of propaganda that I and the rest of the world have laboured under with the Hollywood version forced down our collective throat. I feel saddened and angered for having been duped for decades. We have been manipulated and deceived, and there must be a serious redressing of wrongs done.
    This channel has truly opened my eyes and I cannot thank you enough. I see everything through new lenses! I am telling everyone I know to take the blindfold off and rethink their presuppositions. God bless!

    There is more to it in regards to the soviet buildup north and south of Stalingrad, sectors of front defended by the Romanian third and fourth army, respectively. Besides being severely overstretched and under equipped, they were entirely under the orders of German generals and could not conduct they own operations with elements larger than a company without having to ask permission from the Germans. They constantly reported of the soviet bridgeheads west of the Don, such as Kletskaya, and demanded permission to overrun them. They were denied each time. The same occurred when they demanded anti tank guns capable of destroying soviet tanks or more units to be brought up to strengthen the line...
    Both my grandfathers were there, one in each of the aforementioned armies. Both recalled unending waves of attackers and tanks that would run or drive over their own dead only to be eventually shot down or destroyed. This lasted until they ran out of ammunition and they had to abandon their positions.

      ARMIR was actually relatively effective. If they had been given more heavy AT and heavy Artillery, they would've performed even better.
      I especially admire Italian Calvary Formations, the last mass calvary charge was Italians charging Soviet MG positions, it was even partially photographed.
      Sadly their armor corps left much to be desired.
      Imagine WW2 if the Italians had German liscensed equipment being made in their factories, rather than what was produced (Italian small arms were awful, excluding the Breda 38 submachine gun)

    • @LegendofNelda
      @LegendofNelda 8 місяців тому +9

      @@notapuma I agree and I am aware of how well the armada fought, including the last calvary charge. In general Italian soldiers fought excellently. I also always said Italy needed German military and industrial advisors to help run things in the lead up to and during the war. I think the Axis should have delayed Barbarosa by 6-8 months and focused on North Africa. Double Rommels troops and he would have crushed the British. The only sticking poing being Malta and Gibraltar. With N.A and the M.E under control Turkey may have joined and they could have struck at the USSR. In addition to Army Groups N, Center and South imagine an "Army Group Rommel" with the Afrika Core, Italians, Turks, and arab volunteers striking the south caucuses of the USSR in an expanded Barbarossa.

      they could have invaded vichy, strongarmed franco, taken gibraltar, and eaten the casualties of taking malta, shown the turks that stalin wanted the dardanelles, and strongarmed them into joining the axis, probably shut the suez taken egypt and cyprus, iraq, persia would have joined the axis and afghanistan. that would require waiting to invade until 1942. they would also need to demand their pound of flesh out of the finns to close the arctic lend lease route. the reason they didnt is that hitler didnt have the balls to squeeze mannerhiem into supporting the attack on murmansk. with the muslim world in the war, no persian lend lease and the cacausian oil is taken in 1942. the german oil shortage is solved by winter 42 43, the russians have no oil or lend lease, except archangel and vladivostok which is limited, plus its only oil because of the cacauses being taken. moscow and leningrad are taken from knock on effects, and the soviets have a famine and disintegrate. by winter of 43-44. we know hitler only wanted the up to the panher wotan line/brest litovsk treaty in the east and stalin was willing to give it up if he lost the war. we also know hitler was willing to vacate all of western europe and throw his allies under the bus for a peace deal. i think that facing a stalemate in the mediteranean, plus a seperate peace with stalin, how uncertain and far away from completion the manhattan project still was in 1944, and given how generous hitlers terms were i think churchill signs hitlers peace deal which basically gives hitler the balkans and eastern europe and gives up all his "NATO" conquests and non european territory. i think hitler just needed to be more of a dick to his allies.

      @@ericvonmanstein2112 the source on that is that soviet officers claimed that he said it in a speech, after being interrogated by the germans. plenty of taliban prisoners admitted to knowing about plans for attacks on american soil, after being waterboarded, and almost all german confessions at nuremberg were extracted under torture. stalins actual behavior in 1941 makes no sense. if they were going to invade in 1941 why didnt they invade in the first week of june when the weather was clear? why give hitler a month long window to invade? the soviets had been willing to enter an alliance with germany but they wanted bulgaria and the bosphorous straits signed over. hitler didnt want to hand stalin the balkans so stalin started a massive troop buildup to twist hitlers arm. the reason stalin didnt invade in early june was that he wasnt going to invade that summer at all, he was just trying to get turkey and bulgaria for free before he actually wanted to invade in 42. hitler could have told the turkish PM that if he didnt join the axis immideately, hitler would give stalin what he wanted and there was no way in hell the british could go to war without the americans against russia and germany over turkey, or that the turks would rather an athiest russian state ran by a georgian turn their country into a communist shithole rather than side with the germans for a second time. if they had done that the germans would have had to wait until 1942 to invade, but they would have taken or destroyed the soviet cacausian oil in late 42, plus no persian lend lease, and all remaining lend lease is just oil, instead of food and other goods, so the soviets have a famine and surrender by 1944. the united states calculated that at most they could field 215 divisions, instead of our timelines 90 divisions. and send 190 of these to europe, whic they believed wouldnt have been enough to invade continential europe if the germans knocked russia out of the war. the manhattan project appeared to be a failure by november 1944. theres a conspiracy theory that nukes werent real until castle bravo in 1954 but even if they were , the british and americans believed, at least in november 1944, that the manhattan project wasnt going to produce a working bomb for several years, and that they couldnt field a big enooug army to invade europe. churchill wrote that if hitlers peace deal was a return to the brest litovsk treaty in the east, a return of all the territory taken after ww1, but that he leaves western europe and africa, he would have signed it, if he lost the suez, manmhattan project failed, and the russians pulled out of the war. hitlers peace offer in august 1940 to the british was this, and his peace offer in the stockholm talks to stalin was just brest litovsk 2.0, which stalin also said he was willing to sign if he believed the germans would win the war. all hitler absolutely needed to do to win ww2 was show the turkish PM the molotov schulenburg draft proposal. the fact that negotiations were taking place regarding turkey and bulgaria that summer is why i dont think stalin was going to invade in 41, why it was just a pressure move to get hitler to hand over turkey.
