I think Inucurry said on their Twitter that it's only canon to Magireco timeline, so it's not the case in other timelines. Their attitudes also seem a lot different, Nagisa in that event is gloomy and silent while normal Nagisa (the Rebellion one) seems cheerful
OMG yes, all of this... Finally someone who says something different besides the typical theory about she regret her wish. A different point of view is pretty refreshing actually. The best part in my opinion is how natural this can be... A little girl hardly could fight witches even with the power of Madoka since is equal to give a weapon to someone who doesn't have a clue about how to use and don't even want to fight at all. Maybe (and just maybe) she could have lost against Gertrud who was the nearest witch of the area where the girls find Charlotte's grief seed (I think) or even it could be Albertine who just was too powerful for Nagisa since Madoka Magica loves symbolism, this could be a reference about a young magical girl who lost against a witch of somebody just like her. Also, love your drawing. Surely you think in the little details to make everything better ;)
Actually the worst wish is Mami’s. She wished to survive but, a magical girl can only die if the soul gem is destroyed. Meaning if Mami wished for her parents to survive she would’ve also. A soul gem seems pretty durable considering Sayaka’s soul gem survived being thrown a few feet off a bridge and landing on a speeding car. So Mami’s wish is basically as pointless as “I wish I breathed oxygen.”
I think her wish could've also helped her from preventing her turning into a witch since she asked to "live", not to "survive". Even though she despaired in each other time lines, she never turned into a witch. I think that was due her wish; plus lets remember, Kyubey said that Mami never knew her soulgem had her soul on it and that her body was a receipent.
I know that I was late but actually mami wish was:"I want to tie myself to life"(connection to life) that's why she have those ribbons that turns into muskets and also a magical girl might be stronger than normal humans but their physical body can be destroyed by force like riz hardwood in tart magia and when their physical body is destroyed their consciousness goes into the soul gem it's true that they coul heal their wounds by magic but not their entire body the only reason sayaka can heal her wounds immediately is because her wish is to heal kyosuke fingers so she has healing power and mami also said to madoka that she wasn't thinking when she made her wish so she didn't think about saving her parents
I got another Theory. Nagisa was a magical Girl that was created by Madoka in a Timeline and setup again in another Timeline where she became a witch. Some details are missing that proofs for nagisas humanity. Well. Nagisa has no bellybutton. Only born childs have one. Nagisa's one is missing. And you will be not able to watch for this. Over the bellt should be the button... But there is no one. Yes it's true Madoka wished for no one needs to suffer again as a magical girl and can die happly ever after. But in rebellion you can see, Nagisa and Sayaka are able to exist in both kinds. Even in that "Suffered" Witch-Mode. They are happy with the results of it. Sayaka was hired by madoka after the became a goddess. Madoka was able to change all witches faiths. Nagisa was created by madoka.
If you think of it the main 4 (madoka homura etc.) could’ve done this and avoided a lot of despair Ex. Kyoko should’ve wished for help for her family (a wish for luck not literal mind control )
dude, nagisa is a fckng badass, her mother torture her, she did suspect that there's a catch to the wish, and she did her wish because her mother love cheesecake, and what does she do with the best cheesecake in the world, SHE EAT IT, ALONE, IN FRONT OF HER DYING MOM WHO LIKE CHEESECAKE, which mean, she deliberately choose a chance of a fate worse than death, just to poke spite, TO HER DYING ABUSIVE MOM! dang, dang bro, she's the most badass fictional girl i know

She was there at the hospital when sayaka and madoka where there and then she griefed and that's what turned her into a witch

The situation when she wished was an emmergency, she got explanations after her wish so she can't be blamed to be dumb in her wish making situation.
You should read A Different Story for much more information, it was much more complicated than you thought (Also it's canon and but nobody care lol)
