I love coming back to this sonata once in a while especially considering how easy it is to pickup. I don't care how many people think its overplayed, to me its absolutely marvelous
This was beautiful! You're probably extremely busy, but if you happen to be bored...could you do Shostakovich's Prelude and Fugue, No.18 in F Minor, Op.87? It's a really wonderful piece, and I don't see too many recordings of it on UA-cam.
Estoy mejorando mi ejecución gracias a su hermosa digitacion y este extraordinario formato.Gracias, felicitaciones,mi like y estoy suscrito. Saludos desde Colombia.
@@TobiasNeumann-piano i know a translation: Pooh ... I'm still working on the apassionata, I think it takes at least half a year.. that is what it is from german to english XD
One the best tutorials for this piece on UA-cam :D Thanks so much!! Learning to play this song at the moment, but is it just me or is it ridiculously hard to coordinate LH and RH @00:25 - @00:34 TAT
Good choice. Although I have to add, there are a lot of purely great pieces out there, it changes for me from time to time :) Currently, I really like un sospiro from Liszt very much.
Agreed. :) One day I'll pick this up. Used to play a C minor Mozard fantasy, back when my music teacher played the Grieg part to go along with it. What a fun time.
Hehe! Encouragement accepted! Now I have this plus The Hall Of The Mountain King, and Revolutionary, on my to-do list for this coming year, plus I still have to keep working on Rachmaninoff's Italian Polka, Prelude in G sharp minor, and... Some nice selections for a performance by next spring if anyone wants one from me. :) I've just come out of several years of burnout and my passion/ambition is running wild. So thanks for the encouragement! I'll have fun with this Mozart piece, and when it's UA-cam-ready, you'll be among the first to know.
That's cool aand you are playing a lot of pieces! I have to say it: please be careful and don't do too much pieces! (you don't want to have a second burnout) Always one after the other okay? :) And this mozart sonata ist perfect because a good piano player can it easily learn in a short amount of time
sry I can't speak spanish, but I'll answer in english: it is the easiest of the mozart sonatas and it is fun to play. If you don't play it on full speed it is very managable also for a "not so good" player. I can recommend the 2nd movement, the andante. It is beautiful and a good training to then move to the 1st mov. Hope this helps! ;)
Hi, this is a great idea! Unfortunately, I have absolutely no time atm :( I have still three other pieces that I want to finish and upload, so I don't want to make false promises..
i completely understand, i myself am working on some pieces for violin by paganini and some of chopins intermediate etudes. I average around 7 hours a day and even still pieces take months to learn.
wow I wish I could play 7 hours a day that would be awesome :) Violin is a beautiful instrument and I have heard paganini violin insanely difficult, maybe even harder as playing chopin etudes..?! I will study winter wind now, since it was asked several times I feel I have a duty to finally complete it :)
Tobias Neumann it's been my main instrument ever since I was a child, but just within the past 3 years have I picked up piano and my past violin experience has helped tremendously but my right hand dexterity and strength need lots of work but my left hand has the strength from violin, my goal is the revolutionary etude by the end of next year just because keeping goals is important:)
That sounds like an ambitious goal to a 3 year pianist, but if you're left hand has a "violin boost" I understand your choice for this piece... ^^ If I may give you an advice, look up dohnanyi and hanon finger exercises for increasing your dexterity and strengh in your right hand (if you haven't heard about them)
Hi Stephanie, in Mozarts time, there werent any Pianos and pedal wasnt invented. So, If You want it to play like Mozart composed it, dont use your pedal at all. :)
Tobias Neumann thank you very much your quick reply.I am trying this for a university entrance audition? that's why I asked.then I don't use pedals.is this piece good enough for a university entrance audition?. even playing good?. because your playing inspired me to play this😀👌👌.
Ah, then You should be fine :) No, i didnt use Pedal at all. Personally, I think there is a sweet spot in tempo, where it sounds like the pedal is used, but it isnt used actually. Try to find that speed. Then You get clarity of single notes, and fullness of Sound like Pedal.

How can a piece like this ever be overplayed? :-)
I can almost play it now after practicing for five years.
I love this sonata! It's so relaxing and marvelous!! It reminds me of my childhood
Das ist wieder sehr schön geworden. Ich bewundere die Fingerfertigkeit und das gefühlvollen Anschlagen der Tasten. Wirklich sehr, sehr schön.

Any tips on Bar 5 and up? My 4th finger keeps tensing up (light tense) which messes it all up. Help :>
