Pull the carbs and clean them. It sounds like the float needle is stuck, and since you're in there make sure the pilot jets are clear of debris. Add dot-4 brake fluid to your rear reservoir and open bleeder on the caliper.
i know this is a old video but pri is prime, only to be used to get fuel back into the system. that is why fuel is coming back out there. as for your rear brakes, if that res is empty thats why its not working. you need to fill it back up and suck the air out of the line. Unless its like hot outside you will need your choke to start it and keep it running until the bike warms up. and last, if you cant hold your tank upright with it off the bike and in the on position (arrow pointing down) without it leaking you need to rebuild or replace your petcock. that will also flood your carbs and fill your air box and oil with fuel which is very bad. Hope this helps anyone coming across this video
Both those places to gas coming out from are supposed to have hoses to go up over the air cleaner however gas doesn’t come up above the carburetor but still vent
Float needle is stuck in the carb if tgats stuck open mine aswell do a full clean if you dont have a ultrasonic cleaning tank handy use a bucket filled with 50/50 pinesol and water and for the back brake use dot 3 dot4 and they will need bleed you can not put fluid in alone and expect it to be good
your needle or float bowl is stuck open them black out ports on the fuel rail are your overflow tubes they should have a hose attached that runs to the ground
its not primary... its prime.... u do that when the bike has been out of gas for a while or after taking it out of storage and as soon as there is sign the engine is receiving gas switch it to on.... prime just floods everything to fill the gas lines...
clean the carbs and sync them, rear brake wont work without oil in can so go buy some ;) your carbs if not cleaned before are definetly full of dirt so give them some love, dismantle and clean with WD40, be gentle with needles and stuff, if not sure in your abilities, take it to someone who can help. give updates
Pri is prime not primary it’s putting way to much fuel in your carbs I would clean them out make sure your floats aren’t sticking and prime it for 20-30 seconds then switch it to on and fire it up
@SuperRockcrawler Help me: My friend has a Katana 600 that won't start either but his is worse than this guy's. His starter didn't kick over. I thought it was the battery until I tried jumping it; charging it up and then the old school way (push it and engage the clutch). What I noticed while we were pushing was that his rear wheel was completely locked-up; so when we hit the clutch, it just skid as if he slammed the breaks. He's got oil in the engine... What's the problem? Thanks.
I have a 1991 Suzuki katana 600 it keeps bogging out I place new spark plugs cleaned the carbs changed the oil new fuel lines it doesn’t have a fuel pump because it’s vacuum It’s like it’s not getting enough gas and when it sits in the garage I smell gas so I know it’s a fuel problem
Yea, floats are probably stuck, need to clean them. I've had mine apart and cleaned and put all new o rings in it from hardware store. Just took the part in there and looked for same or similar metric o ring and test fit it before u buy. I also bought a K &L petcock rebuild kit on Ebay for like 25 bucks. New fuel lines aswell and mine runs strong
Word of advice , if don't know what your doing , take it to a mechanic , it sounds like you have no idea about motorbikes or any mechanical knowledge , It's just going to be another stripped out bike sitting behind the shed ,sell it to some one who knows what they are doing , and they can have some fun with it , ,

Prime is a gravity fed position on the petcock. The bike is flooded.

No both of those lines or fuel lines where you're missing a line where fuel was spewing out hookah line both of those lines go to your tank
Remove both lines that I don't remember where they are go! Any help pls thanks
maybe that is why it was smoking. you used a hookah line. those smoke a lot.

if you read the book for the bike PRI on the take is PRIME, as in to prime your carbs, its probably flooded all to hell
Michael Brazell yep hes been drowning it... Its definetly prime not primary 😂
Your supposed to gave it set to ON not pri , wich stands for PRIME..... Thats probably your entire problem right there
you can choke the bike to the left side of the cab
