I think some are doing their best to stay in the Church for the right time to lead us back to the truth. But each to their own - they all have different strengths. Having said that, there are some bishops at local levels, especially in my country of Australia, who should stand up and allow themselves to be cut down if necessary in the name of the truth of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. Better to be put down from their seats rather than sit on a throne of lies. Unfortunately, most of very liberal and spout Francis nonsense.

Somebody had to do this. If I hadn't had strong faith in Jesus before converting in March I would never have been baptized. There are so many souls being led astray and many more that will never step foot in a Catholic Church because of the Pope's heresy. This is the time to save souls not scatter and divide them

I have never once heard Francis talk about saving souls. He has talked endlessly about "the marginalized", which is rainbow talk.
The Faith can never be destroyed or prevailed against. But the organization has been corrupted, for now.

Praying for your strength dear Archbishop. Sometimes we have to stand up and be counted. You are standing up for God, His Church and the Faithful. We stand with you.
I don't know if you remember, but a few years ago a group of us lower clergy and theologians compiled and signed a list of Bergoglian errors which constituted ambiguities, offenses to pious ears and 7 instances of outright material heresies. We appealed for his repentance and for the College of Bishops to act on this "Filial correction" with an appropriate and subsequent "Fraternal correction."
This document is still in the public space complete with citations, Magisterial teachings and dogmas which he has rejected - putting himself de minimis in the position of being a public material heretic.
Our hope was that this would serve as a record for posterity in the event that the episcopate would return to a collective sensus Catholicus and take steps to defend Holy Mother Church and her faithful against the current onslaught from the "father of lies".
I am grateful that Archbishop Vigano seems to have arrived at a position where he is now laying bare the reality of the situation.
I hope and pray that more prelates will come to his side and do what they have been consecrated in the truth to do: to defend the Faith and declare that a heretic cannot and did not validly ascend to the Apostolic See.

There has been no saint in the Church that has denied the authority of a legitimate pope, no matter how bad he may be, they didn’t deny he was pope. Vigano is definitely not a saint if he rejects the successor of St Peter.

It’s such a stunning prophecy by Our Blessed Mother. What she said has come true pretty much word for word.
The altars sacked and such started in the 70s. Statues were removed, tabernacles were moved off to the side or tucked out of site, in some Churches.
In 80s and 90s JP2 and Benedict pushed to end these horrible actions and many churches moved their tabernacles back to the central focus of the churches.
Not everyone did so, but I lived through this and saw the change back.
What we are living through is the ‘Spirit of Vatican 2’ like the demons who back back to the empty house with even stronger force.

I suspect Vigano has the goods on the Seminarian issue otherwise he wouldn't have been so reckless as to make accusations publicly that he couldn't substantiate. I also suspect he has already attempted to have the incident investigated and the V did nothing.
Abp. Vigano may simply be protecting the privacy of Bergoglio’s victim(s). Nevertheless, I don’t think we’ve heard the last of this….
All I want from the good Archbishop is for him to prove and substantiate his allegations against Francis. Otherwise he undermines everything else good he’s said and claimed. If that be true, it would end the Francis pontificate in disgrace. Plus, the conclave would be essentially forced to elect a morally impeccable pope and at the least one who would be “safe” and not be pushing a progressive agenda.

Viagnô says there are two churches: the false,Vatican II-post-Vatican II “CI civilian, Synodal, Bergoglian church”, and the real Church, to which he adheres and in whose communion he is, which is that UO TILL VATICAN II. One needs a strange filter to avoid the plain language of Viganò to suggest he isn’t now Sede. He has said since October that one MUST REJECT Bergoglio and all cooperation with him, EVEN BEFORE ANY juridical declaration is made by bishops and cardinals. The REALITY that there is NO pope, and that the ones claiming the papacy have all promulgated errors, AS THE “J’Accuse” itself says.

If Vigano is saying that V2 is null and void that includes the new form of Sacraments , popes , cardinals...Most people are in denial.
This pontificate has run with the idea that VII was the churches great reset. The church needed a complete break with its past. Its heritage was to be be put away "like grandma's old lace.". Archbishop Vigano's statement might be less diplomatic than the words of others who have spoken out about this problem, but it certainly get's right to the point!!

Hello Anthony, I am writing this comment because you need to clarify that Cum ex Apostolatus Officio by Pope Pius IV belongs to the Magisterium of the Church, and was written in perpetuity as a measure to try to avoid the mystery of Iniquity of a heretic who was invalidly named pope, so much so that it was confirmed by his successor Pope Saint Pius V in "Inter multiplices" Motu proprio that decrees in perpetuity that all promotions or elevations of those who have strayed from the Faith are Null. And it decrees that the election of a heretic as pope, even if he were unanimously elected by all the cardinals, is invalid and null, regardless of whether he held the office for whatever time, and that each of the pronouncements, facts, acts and resolutions and their consequent effects lack authority, and do not grant any validity, and no one is obliged to obey them. Furthermore, Canon Law 1917 confirmed the bull “Cum ex apostolatus” which ANNULS the elevation of a heretic to the papacy. Please go into more detail on this subject because it is important that you do not transmit wrong information in such a serious matter.

The problem with the Goldilocks-like SSPX "Bad Dad" thesis is that Bad Dad is burning the house down. It is in flames. The walls are collapsing. Baby sister is in her crib upstairs, screaming in terror as the smoke and flames grow nearer. Mom lies unconscious after Bad Dad has beaten her with an axe. The family dog has been decapitated. Bad Dad has a bucket of gasoline & is about to throw it on the fire.
SSPX response: "Dad - this is not licit! Stop & Call 9/11."
Sedevacantist response: Grab the Bride of Christ and run out of the burning building to get her to safety. Then raise the alarm that there is a madman in the house.

This was funny but it does not have the kernel of truth in it. The SSPX have done more than anyone else to save the Bride of Christ from the firey crisis, where you make them sound idle.
A better comparison would be that the SSPX does not charge, judge, and eχecμτe the (Holy) Father on the spot as sedevacantists do in charging the Pope with heresy, judging it manifest, and declaring him εχcommμnιcατεd-deposed. There is a fire, the father has started it, we do everything necessary to save lives and property in the moment, but what it means for the relationship (was he even your real biological father or a stereotypical violent stepfather?) or his sentence is beyond our ability to know or our authority to determine.
I find myself agreeing with what sedevacantists say, but I lack the courage to join them. Can you explain to me how sedevacantism is consistent with the teaching of our Lord that he would be with the church for all ages? Soon (in about 20-30 years) there will be no living bishop or cardinal ordained before Vatican II. Doesn’t that mean that the priesthood will die out if you don’t accept any post-V2 ordinations?

@@johnobeid67I was reluctant for years to attend as well. Sedevacantism/sedeprevationism is simply practicing the faith as it always was prior to Vatican II. The priests and bishops are validly ordained. True priests will live on here.

The difference between a male Saint and a female one is that she will be inclined to mercy and long suffering, and he will be inclined to correction and fighting the good fight. If you go with the female saint style you will inevitable prolongate the suffering within the Church which is altogether unnecessary, and all the weaker souls within her will be lost due to a lack of endurance or ignorance to sin.

There are many rites represented in the Roman Catholic Church, all with their own formulas for ordination and Holy Mass etc. Because they are different from the Traditional Roman Rite does not render the sacraments confected according to these various rites invalid. When the novus ordo is treated as a separate rite (which in reality it is), the discussion of whether it is valid or not takes a rather academic route. Basic knowledge of sacramentology simply and affirmatively answers the question of its validity. Whether one likes this rite or not should not enter into the academic discussion of its validity. This applies to all the sacraments according to this rite, including priestly ordination and episcopal consecration.
The NO can be both valid and yet ineffective or less effective in protecting souls.
Good Anthony Stine, manifest heresy is not, from what I can tell, what you say it is. To be a heretic means you have committed the sin of heresy, which is to intentionally speak or teach against the Faith. The difficult thing about intention is that it's very difficult to prove. So, even if a bishop of the Church teaches something that is an error, even a known error, a clear error, an obvious error, this doesn't a heretic make him. He might be, or he might not be, depending on whether he knows he's teaching an error against the Faith. Such a one (one who does know he's teaching against the Faith) would be an occult heretic.
The method that the Church uses to reveal the intention of such a one is the double admonition: the admonition of charity and the admonition of justice. The admonition of charity can be made by anyone, and it is a correction given to the one teaching error with the presupposition that he doesn't realize he's teaching error, and this is to gently and charitably correct him so that he can conform himself to the truth. The admonition of justice is the second admonition given, when, after receiving the admonition of charity, the person continues to teach error. The admonition of justice carries with it the threat of punishment, and thus can only be given by a superior, or one who has the ability to enact a sanction against him. This is done, again, as a way to reform the error. However, it is also done in order to reveal intentionality. If, after having received the admonition of justice, this person continues to teach the same error, then he has reached the necessary bar of heresy, namely, pertinacity.
A manifest heretic is someone who has received this second admonition, who continues to teach the same error, but who has not yet received a canonical judgement from the Church. He is only publicly manifestly heretical if the second admonition is made publicly. If it was made privately, he can only be said to be privately manifestly heretical (among those who know he received the second admonition).
What this means is that anyone who accuses Pope Francis of being a heretic does so falsely, for he has not received an Admonition of Justice. Many people, lay and cleric alike, have admonished Pope Francis according to the admonition of charity, but none according to the admonition of justice. This is because there is no office higher than the papacy, so no one person can actually issue this admonition. This is why the best scholarship we have on this issue is that such an admonition must come by way of either the body of Cardinals or (more probably) an ecumenical, or partially ecumenical council. There is precedence for this in Church history.
So, until this happens, we can't actually say Pope Francis is a heretic. It's simply wrong. Now, Vigano, a prelate of the Church, has accused Pope Francis of heresy. He has done the right thing, which is to call on the bishops to act. He says depose, I say convene a council and issue the admonition of justice, with threat of sanction, and allow the Pope the opportunity to respond. Until any of that happens, he's Pope and not a heretic. For nobody can prove he has committed the sin of heresy. The profession of error does not a heretic make.

For Bergoglio the church is conciliar, ecumenical, synodal, inclusive, immigrationist, eco-sustainable and gay-friendly." The pope sounds more like a WEF member than the Vicar of Christ. The problem is not just bergoglio the problem is second Vatican 2. That is the what is heretical (e.g ecumenism and collegiality). Bergoglio is just a consequence of second Vatican.
Excellent exposition ..but surely his statements,actions,behaviour, comments and suspected dubious early lifestyle and.sexual orientations and sympathies cast doubt on his fitness or credentials..just what has to happen for him to be removed....

Reading comments. I don't see why it has to be all or nothing. Seems the NO is valid, proven by eucharistic miracles, and yet has been less effective and prone to abuse. That would mean that there are still valid sacraments, and yet the NO is a problem and in serious need of replacement. For example, just because a model of automobile has a bad motor and needs to be discontinued, it doesn't mean it was never a car and never managed to take anyone from one place to another. And just because it is a car that has allowed people to travel, it also doesn't hold that no other car would be better or that it does not need to be discontinued.

Vigano is totally on target. It has been evident to me from the beginning that he was not the pope.
A Franciscan in Edmonton Father McDonald taught that Paul VI insisted that the doctrine of Revelation was written before the Council started redefining Ecclesiology. God is the foundation for the church. The house built on rock. If you start with Ecclesiology then anything is possible. Whereas John XXIII was opening the windows to the world Paul the VI was moving around the furniture. The intended renewal did not stop the decimation of Catholic mass attendance and faithfulness. It did not just happen in the last 15 years.
