Unfortunately, I find that converts within last 10-15 yrs have these traits. Not all, but some. It's dis heartening, had one tell me the N.O. Mass is all they've known and won't consider TLM . Same person joins every group in the parish, then complains about everyone involved. That's why I generally stayed away and left the Parish. It became a avenue of gossip , complaining amount women as to who should be recognized for all they do

I think Lofton is trying to be honest. I chalk up his error to a lack of humility. Even if he held the same positions but presented them differently, like "these are just my thoughts, but I could be wrong. I'm not theological authority," it would be taken better.

Bravo Cardinal Zen, a living saint! It’s about time that the religious come out and correct, standing up for the truth. I love these ppl who voice their opinions and own understandings of the teachings of Jesus and the true church. Jesus’ teachings are not up for debate and to be subject to ppl’s opinions. God’s Word never changes, it is the same yesterday, today and as it is forever more. No one not even the pontiff can change God’s word. The church needs to stop conforming to the things of this world. It needs to stop placating the masses to be “cool” using Satan’s tool of inclusion to do it. We need to stand firm with God’s Word, bringing the truth of the Word in love to the world. Time is short, we all need to get right with God and stand with the true magisterium of the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

While I agree we should offer Lofton as much charity as possible. In the little time I’ve known of him. He has proven that he deserves very little. He seems to be more of a political activist who took up Church Politics and is pushing his agenda at the expense of the Church (whether he knows that or not). He is quite hatful and vindictive towards Traditionalists while offering exuberant amounts of leeway for blasphemers and actual heretics. For example, according to Lofton, Bishop Strickland is a “schismatic”. But our “elder brothers” in the faith didn’t mean our Lord when writing their blasphemous texts.”

Cardinal Zen is beautiful! His face reflects deep humility and suffering. I cherish that dear holy old priest! Wisdom and theological education are not mutually exclusive but do not necessarily coexist in an individual. Cardinal Zen states he is not a theologian but he seems to see clearly to the heart of issues and has wisdom which is a great gift of the Holy Spirit. He is true to scripture, tradition and the magisterium in its faithful presentation of our holy faith. I hope, by the mercy of God to meet this holy Cardinal in heaven.
Michael Lofton juggles logic, common sense and facts to make it seem that Francis always winds up on the correct side of every question, even when Francis is quite content to stand pat and proud on the wrong side. ML is an ultramontane enthusiast for a man who refuses the defining Papal title of Vicar of the Son of God on Earth and chooses instead to be known by his Civil title of Jorge Bergoglio, President of the Vatican City State. For Francis, the Roman Catholic Church is subordinate to the Vatican City State, in keeping with his stance of State over Church; The Secular, the Civil, governing the Church and regulating the practice of Religion to serve the World which will not have Christ as its King. Of course, Francis' attitude is evidently Stonecutter, even if we can't find his name inscribed in the membership rolls of the local Lodge of Rome. Michael Lofton seems oblivious to the anti-Catholic, anti-Christian basis of Francis' most peculiar Papacy. But until a real Pope comes along, ML is content to follow and defend Francis, who by the way is opposed to converting anyone to Catholicism. I just experienced Michael Lofton's ire when I dared express that anytime I find Pope Francis to be at variance with his predecessors I follow his predecessors. I made the statement that in a very real way there is a hierarchy in time going backwards towards Christ. He accused me of committing slander against the Holy Father. Wow, he launches at anything with true vigor. He is a great big man baby. I have criticized Taylor Marshall (never you interesting enough), Tim et. al. And most just engaged charitably. On his website I just expressed an opinion and gave reasons for my opinion that happened to be at variance with his video. BOY OH BOY, his skin is so thin I wonder if it is transparent.

I have just listened to Mgr Vigano defense document presented at his trial. I do not know if you talked about this, but this is extremely serious. He state that Rome does not have the faith anymore and that the Catholic Church must restart from the ground up and from the residual group elect a valid Catholic pope who has the same faith than St Peter. This Valid pope will have the task to reconstitute using what has been lost, the true magisterium of Jesus.
I covered this on Friday or Saturday

What is it about converts, specifically Protestant ones, who come on the scene and think they know everything?
It comes from a radical deep-seated desire to be secure in the truth.
The problem is that it makes you susceptible to becoming possessed by an ideological framework that prevents you from seeing actual truths in exchange for maintaining the ideology's narrative and avoiding cognitive dissonance when contradictory facts of the ideology emerge.

I tried watching him too, first noticed that he made several videos criticizing marshall and I don't always agree with Marshall but thought it was a little much. I seen Lofton explain Pachamama, weird cultural masses, then he was agreeing with the decision about Bishop Strickland, and others canceled clergy and defending these documents..I disagree with just about everything he says. It almost seems like he is asked by the corrupt part of the Vatican to be their cheerleader..I know that sounds awful to Sat out loud🤦♀️

To be fair to Michael Lofton I would have been in a similar position five years ago, often defending Pope Francis by suggesting that what he had said was taken out of context or could be viewed in a different light. I now perceive that he defends Francis even when it is clear that the Pope is clearly out of line with tradition.
