Five things you should know about Sudbury: 1) it gets cold. 2) it gets cold. 3) it gets cold. 4) it gets cold. 5) yup, really, really cold. Otherwise, it's a great place!
If you have a full house average 120-200 a month just for heat. Summer could be 20$ a month and winter if you don’t have equal billing can get up to 400-500$ depending on the size of your house!

I'm waiting 10 months now for a follow up on a MRI here after spending 9.5 hours in emerge. We have one of the worst rated hospitals in the country and the churn of healthcare professionals is insane. Our property taxes are significantly higher than the average and amalgamation has stripped the majority of the smaller communities of their identities and amenities compared to beforehand. Sudbury also just elected a tax and spend liberal who was part of Trudeau's cohort of regressive minded, tax and spend and over regulate MPs who has spent tens of millions demolishing downtown, increased the salaries of the city workers in the double digits and instituted things like the the conservation authority to enact some of the most punitive building regulations in the province. This, along with the worst roads in Canada for the population size, all while our property taxes have continued to increase by 7%~ a year on an already overtaxed population. Sudbury has a lot to offer in terms of topography and job prospects, but the people who have run this city for several decades have run it in to the ground, and we have a population that relies more on government handouts and unqualified positions (I see you, CRA), and therefore continues to vote for more and more insanity at every election.
City is run down, roads are a disgrace, money is mismanaged by an incompetent city council, pan handlers all over the shabby downtown. Move to espanola instead. A far cleaner and safer city.
@@bitcoinnotcrypto better than crime, panhandlers, used needles, shady characters, poor roads, congested Kingsway and Lasalle, shabby bombed out appearance of town. Take Espanola anyway.

The blasting really depends where you live!! Most neighborhoods never feel it! As for the sulfuric acid, not sure if you were aware but the mining indurstry has chnaged a lot and its no longer a factor the city is not affected by it at all!

Welp, I know which realtor/realty company not to use in the future! If you cant be bothered to fact check and trust you 'buddy' who owns a fast food chain as the reality check for taxes - then that shows exactly how distrustful you are. You didnt mention how low pay for employment is in Sudbury - I wonder why?
