I passed through the core of Sudbury yesterday and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw. The layout of the city, the buildings, bridges, the way the streets wind around up and down hilly areas. It reminded me of Montreal neighborhoods. Mind you it was alive because it was around rush hour in the evening but it was enough to make me want to come back, stay and explore. I'm originally from Kingston, On but have been in the Toronto area for the last 30 years and am dying to leave. Just a couple more years and I'll be looking for a new place to live...
This video brought back old memories of my hometown. I left in 2003 to move to Toronto. Its changed so much since I've moved and some places I don't recognize.

wow... looks like as you get closer to where i live, the things to do really drops off the cliff. Very sad that the communities in northern ontario really offer nothing back in return.

Sudbury current resident. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere! High taxes High drug and theft Highly dis functional city council. High damage to your vehicle due to lack of road maintenance. High depression High bad drivers Highly corrupt city officials/buddy system. High infrastructure neglect. High gas prices High insurance due to bad drivers. High illegal activity High homeless rate High corruption I could go on so much more. But the final decision is yours. But remembre.. i told you so.
First 2 seconds you showcase the abandoned hospital that the city spent a million dollars to paint it like an LGBT acid trip. The homeless use it as a crackhouse.. premium waterfront property in the heart of downtown and the city hasn't done anything with it for like 20 years.
Don’t move to sudbury! It’s not what you think.. taxes are gonna sky rocket! Emergency department at the hospital is under daily distress. Homelessness at an all time high and the city officials corruption is a disgrace! It’s even in the university! So if you don’t see it right away.. Think twice is my advice then again take a third time to think it over.

I agree . Sudbury is changing for the WORST. Downtown is embarrassing and we are being taken over. I'm sure sudburians know what I mean. It's scary
