Word of advice for prelude fans, do not buy one with an automatic. One of the worst transmissions Honda ever made was the automatic in those, dont buy an auto prelude
Not ONE OF... it is indeed THE worst transmission honda ever made for any car.
Better to have a manual for drifting it anyway
@@Scatathit’s fwd
@@jponz85 those modern CVT's are definitely worse, at least a Prelude with an auto will make it to 150k miles.
@@Scatath In a FWD car? Youre not drifting a Prelude.
I feel like the honda civic type r ep3 is even more perfect then most hondas out there
you get
-The (2nd) cheapest civic type r (after fn2)
-beautiful looks
-an amazing K20 with super reliability, amazing sound, good vtec, very tunable
-lots of aftermarket support
- you can get some for less then 2000
-they last for 200k miles or so
Although its overlooked its a good choice even if its one of the most common Type-Rs
when i was looking at buying my first car i considered every single car on this list except for the v6 accord.............. i ended up getting the v6 accord coupe as my first car..
You made a good choice brother 🙌🏾
Acura CL is 01-03. the type s has 265hp and a 6speed in 2003
I appreciate the correction brother, idk how I messed that up 🫡
@@blakgy no worries at all man. I was just adding something to boost what you were saying! I have a 03 6speed type S. I love it
I liked my 6-6 but it got totalled with only 130k miles womp womp
Bro no waayyyyyy, How?! (o_O)
Lady in chrysler 200 came out of nowhere, the damage on the accord for sure not that bad but the cars 20 years old so ig they don't care to fix ir
Damn… 🥲
I hope u get some good compensation brother 🙏🏾
The commentary during the Accord bit got me LOLing 😂🤣🤣
What can I say man? That car is awesome, one of the best purchases I’ve ever made 😂
@@blakgy agreed, that’s what I drive lol keep it up man
Which car is in the video that driving on the touge runs ?
That’s the accord
Those preludes have the prelude curse. Unless you knoe how to work on cars like i do, avoid them. I should know, i still own a 5th gen 98 prelude sh with a euro r h22a fbo tuned.
the crx will always be the best car ive ever owned
One of my biggest turn offs for the CRX is the front crash rating (2 out of 5) because if one gets into a head on collision, the engine can move from the engine bay into the driver seat. Look up crash tests crx, and you'll see the engine shoots through the firewall like it was paper..... plus its a thief magnet.
I did and holy fricking cow that’s insane, I thought they were tin-cans, not paper mache 😂
Bro gives me shaggy from scooby doo vibes
It’s uncomfortable how many times people have made that comparison 😂😂
@blakgy nah, you totally own it
Wrecked my 04 rsx type s at 130-140mph (nose dive, barrel rolls, trees, street signs) me and my passenger hopped out and ran from the cops on foot. Moral of the story, they are safe. Now i just stick to my 07 Accord sedan v6 6 speed black on black.
I’m glad you made it out safely brother, rip that RSX THO 😬
Under 5k in California? 😮 doubt it.... i know its my fault for living here ...
I just checked fb market after reading your comment and yes, a bunch under 5k and I'm in Cali as well (LA area)
where tf you finding a crx under 5k?.........
in addition, where tf you finding a rsx under 5k? this video is fried
Facebook marketplace, there’s a bunch, I searched within a 120 mile radius of my house 😂
@@blakgy ok but we talking cars that run and drive not clappers with 250k, mismatched panels, and rust weight reductions
If you say so, I really can’t convince you otherwise, but I’ve already found a handful since reading your first comment
I’ve seen some really decent CRXs going for $5200 - $5500 obo (in other words you can talk them down) easily a $4800 car
And tons of decent RSXs especially if you’re willing to make a lengthy drive to get one, but again, I really can’t convince you otherwise if you’re not willing to go searching yourself 🤙🏾
Edit: you also probably shouldn’t be expecting a car with 50-60k miles to be $5k or under lmao but definitely you can find some with 120-170k
