The ending spoiled it for me; the protagonist had mountains of evidence to present to law enforcement and the government, yet decided not to do anything. There is no justification that higher authorities would consider him insane, especially if he ommitted the more exotic parts of the tale.

Okay, I've officially listened to too many of these things, I couldn't do anything but nit-pick the story literally the whole way through. The sunglasses? Obvious. The creature? Totally nonsensical (why did it need him to go into its nest if it could just vomit eggs into his mouth?). It's not murder when it's self-defense, don't open with "I killed my best friend" if you're trying to warn people about a monster other than you, and AS SOON as he said "I don't have much time, so I'll start from the beginning," I rolled my eyes because I knew what was coming. Yeah, you don't have much time as an evil parasite takes over your body, but sure, write out your entire backstory and shit, all the while I was like "I SWEAR if he's been infected with the same damn thing and still chose to write out THIS much…!" and lo and behold, that was what we got. I feel like if I hadn't binged hundreds of creepypastas, this would have been genuinely scary, but I've just become jaded I guess, I couldn't see anything but flaws. V_V
