i totally feel you on the lyrics!! it’s hard to believe that the same boys who wrote “if you don’t swim you’ll drown so don’t move honey” also wrote “this evanescence always fleeting like a flame but i’m never one to change, am i” hahaha! they’ve gotten better and better lyrically with each album & i think especially now that ashton & luke have done their own personal songwriting for their solo projects, this upcoming 5sos album is going to be lyrically supreme to anything they’ve done before!

Loved your reaction and your intake of the lyrics/music video, and I think it’s about themselves too! But they didn’t confirm anything about that officially, and yeah this calum and Ashton moment too cute to handle 😩 and I can tell *still not sure* that the other scene that had shadows were Michael being dragged by Luke *looks like their shadows and outfits and the height difference too* and I just love all of their friendships 🥺 and they wrote all the lyrics alone and Michael produced it alone too! waiting for more reactions by you 💕 I’m new to the channel!

5sos are talking both about Us fans!... and a romantic partner. This is 5sos's first song where the members both produced and wrote the song as a group... without other song writers. All of 5sos old songs were written with others song writers, not just them four.
