Can't wait till that theme park is abandoned so you can explore it. lol
It won't be - it neighbours a residential area.
Its operating since April 1967, it won't go anywhere soon. Great theme park and always replacing stuff with new things, as their residential surrounding does not allow expansion.
Currently building a new 'steampunk' themed section. For sure worth a visit.
Anyway, the shown ride "Chiapas" usually does not get you that wet, only a few spots get wet. The other one "River Quest" can really get you soaked from shirt to shoes. =)
yea netherlands isnt really the best place for urbex. most of the buildings/parks that go out of buisness/get abandonned usually get demolished or reused in a few months and they are mostly heavily guarded
Try Breukelen, and some industrial sites, there is more then you think over here ;)
Land is expensive just all around to leave a lot of large abandoned properties. Not my just the population, but Netherlands is a big one on the agriculture that might not be the first thing that comes to mind. The land is a sea of greenhouses.
@@gideonbouwman4904 breukelen is really gutted.
+ the Netherlands has a very urbex unfriendly law: the final legal owner of the property remains tax eligable even after he has left the place. And since tax rates are pretty high, stuff is usually demolished quite fast
The Netherlands is shit for urbex though. The government is sooo quick to either destroy the place or make it totally impossible. And if either of those things doesn't happen, vandals will go ham on the place :(
Same in Norway, it's a good thing in general, but not at all for urbex.
Greeting from The Netherlands, because i live there :D
I'm always watch your videos, keep going on!!
ps, in The Nederlands there are not much abandoned places because they are often quickly occupied by anti-squatting, can be quickly renovated or quickly demolished.
They must've known you guys were coming. Thats a lot of locked down spots. What a bummer guys. Hope you guys enjoy yourselves. Cant wait for more explorations!
France has some pretty neat abandoned places, in my city there's an entire brewery that's abandoned. Explored it twice before it got cleaned up and secured with guards etc..
What a day... better luck next time! But, thanks for sharing, great job!
Super cool to see you have been too the Netherlands. I'm sorry there wasn't anything to explore. Greetings from the Netherlands! Follow you guys from the beginning. Tanx!
Guys, you should totally visit Breukelen, there is an abandoned tire / steel factorty over there.
The location: Merwedeweg - Breukelen, you can easily find it, it's just 300m away from the highway A2.
Cool you guys were here in the Netherlands! Greetings from Rotterdam, Netherlands.
wow the camera was using really does a fantastic job video at night
My vacation is watching this channel
There is no failures in a successful reconnaissance run.
Nice that you also have been to my country. Yeah a lot of properties remain empty and then suddenly they are getting restored or worked on. Or rented out for people in need.
They know how to take care of their abandoned buildings. At least they warned you that there was asbestos inside. Here in USA they don't care lol.
Fantasia land is brilliant, went on the drop tower about 9 times and the train ride is great too
Great to see u guys were in te Netherlands (briefly) and yes we have speed limits and yes we did invent the speed camera. :D
Every moment is an adventure.
I follow you guys for about a year or maybe more creating the best urbex content on UA-cam. Great to see you came to the Netherlands!
Happy to see you guys uploading on the second channel more often now!
Youi might try to team up with local Urbexers.
Yeah, the Dutch don't usually let buildings get abandoned very easily. Either "anti-kraak" to prevent issues or it get's re-purposed.
I am from Germany and i am following your channel for years. im a youtube addict since maybe 10 years, and you are providing the on of the best contents i have seen - no joke. i am watching your videos since some years now. maybe you also should have checked out eastern germany. i think there are severeal cool places, at least more than in west germany.
Thank you very much, keep up the good work, best wishes!
Wish i knew you guys were here! You should have visit land van ooit. Its a abandoned theme park in the netherlands and it looks so creepy.
Greetings from Nijmegen, Netherlands.
That's a bummer. Can't wait for more content on the main channel and see how you guys got out of the steel mill. Have you guys talked to any urbex guys over there? Exploring With Fighters is in Ireland right now. Maybe Dan can give you some good places to go.
Can’t believe you drove trough my city!! I definitely missed something great 😱😱
Oh wow the Kent School is like half an hour from where I live! Nice to see that you guys checked out the Neighbourhood :D
Suggestion if you end up in Spain by chance. There is this really awesome abandon mansion that used to be owned by former dictator Francisco Franco just outside of Madrid. I was living in Madrid these last 2 years and they have it fenced off but people still go in it from time to time. It's up on top of a huge hill and has amazing views. Google it it's called "Canto del Pico"
Love your vlogs guys. Would love to see more! Enjoy your trip
Love your stuff, I found the main channel a few weeks ago and was immediately intrigued. It's really too bad nothing worked out for you, hopefully the rest of your travels give you better luck. I went to phantasialand as a child so it's interesting to see it looking pretty much the same, rides and all. After bouncing between Germany and the Netherlands for 6 years I can say that even ten years ago urbex probably wouldn't have been easy. Besides some random churches and chapels in the middle of crop fields, not much else seems to get abandoned without intervention shortly after. The closest thing I saw to an abandoned building was a vacant house that caught on fire in the centre of my village. But it was immediately fenced off and soon destroyed.
Damn, I hope you'll be able to do a video of something in the Netherlands. Cool to see my own country in an urbex video for once
Maybe in 10 years you will be back exploring that theme park after it's dilapidated and crumbling.
Damn Kent School, thats like 20 minutes from where I live. Tried to get in there once, armed security told me to leave while is was just looking at the fence from outside. But i have a good guess why it is so protected. In 2009 an urbexer found a weed plantation in the schools basement, local press say there were over 1500 plants.... but man im bummed that i didnt know you were in this area, i know a few locations, a lot of old military stuff, British RAF Base/hospital
if you're going to sweden you have to vissit the huge abandoned fortresses in Boden (there are 5 and a lot of stuff around them)
you should check out the Coventry Evening Telegraph building. it has abandoned printers that are 4 floors high
Quite fun to see some dutch places on the channel, I do happen to know a few places in the Netherlands, but it's really that you have to know where to look, as not much info in available.
Wow you guys were in Roermond? That's super close to me!
Instead of Red Bull, try to get "Club Mate" (glass bottle with a yellow-/brown-ish liquid) from a supermarket or petrol station. Works way better than Red Bull and you don't reek of dead gummy bears afterwards.
Kent School was used by British Forces in Germany, back in the 1970's and 1980's , this is probably why it is so well protected.
Tiny hotel room & tiny bed! Is the toilet strange also? I remember in Amsterdam we had a toilet with a shelf in the bowl. Weird
u think dutch toilets are weird... have u seen french toilets?
The old ones or the new? Both are strange. There’s the squat, and the self cleaning, and now the urinals!
That theme park looks like fun. Churros looks good, I wonder
how much do they cost over there?
One of my most favorite attractions in Phantasialand is Mystery Castle ;-) It's truely a freaking awesome attraction and if you haven't been in there this time, doe it the next time! You can find cool onride videos of it on YT ;-)
When you are in the Netherlands next time, please visit another great themepark the Efteling ;-) There are 3 outdoor rollercoasters, 1 fully indoor rollercoaster and 2 half indoor/outdoor rollercoasters!
Lol @ 3:00 I would not be able to survive in another country that doesn't speak english
R.I.P Robbie Rotten (stefan karl) you will always be remembered in our hearts as the number one legend sleep easy our friend.
What a few people have already said on here. Holland or the Nederlands is pretty poor for urbex, however, I lived there for 2 years & got into about 6-8 places & believe I was the first explorer into one of the mansions there-result!
Who makes the power for the power plant lights?
Love to see you in germany
that was a bad day but still good work.
I know what it says, because I'm dutch. When you guys were in the Netherlands I was in England. Nice color correction btw!
Love it! Nice video! Take sub and like :). Greatings from Poland :).
That Kent School is indeed a pay for visit place, you can call that phone number and arrange a visit. Not that I would, kinda ruins the fun of exploring for me...
Im so sad I didnt know you guys were in the Netherlands I wanted to meet you guys so bad :CC
0:54 ur eating churros in Germany?! those r from Spain!
I've been to the Kent School and indeed you have to pay for it like 45 euro's and it wasn't worth it's money but I can scrap it from my urbex list :)
Train. Start it up. Take it for a ride.
What was the electric music during the theme park montage?
Are you still in Europe?
oh my gawd u guys also visited the netherlands 😄
Groeten uit nederland
Ahhh, nothing like an urbex fail....I have those more often than I care to say....XD XD XD
When are you guys coming to the UK ?
When are you going to upload the other part of that steel mill you went to
adAm stoudt they just did. Great video it was
Does anyone know the song that starts at 0:28
Hey you were in The Netherlands? And not far from where I live :)
I’m betting my ass these people know you are coming since are watching your channel ._.
day of disappointments. rip
01:30 xDD.
what part of the netherlands are you guys
you huys arent the only with urbex failures, im having big failures to, i cant enter in like my last 3 spots :(
cool
Hey guy love your videos! I feel like I'm right there with y'all. You have also inspired me to do some exploring myself and I was wondering if you could maybe just give me a little help. I can't travel the US the way y'all do. I have to stay local to my area. Houston Texas and surondings. If you have a chance I would appreciate it. Thanks again.
A demon orb went inside your face at minute 5:00-5:01 👽👻👾👺
If anything Dutch should be easier than German for an Englis speaker
Did consider hooking up with @ExlploringandMe?
look out for the women and girls in the Netherland , they realy like Americans!
Hate to be "that guy" but those "train engines" are actually called Locomotives
Germans laugh?! Nein! Zee Germans only have two emotions. Angry and das more angry
first bruh
YOUR SHOW HAS GOTTEN BORING!!!!!!!!!!!
leigh prendergast if you don’t like it, then don’t watch.
k
what an apathetic response from proper people, almost leads credence to the accusation.
Onlyclaire Jones Totally agreed Claire!!
Why are you watching it then???
