Nick your killing me with these amazing filming locations this is one of my favorite movies along with Aliens and Terminator man this is some good stuff and the graffiti is always a plus.. thanks for this I have to get back on the grind with my filming locations I have a few I'm scouting. Danny Glover is the man in this movie glad he got the Trophy at the end
West Coast Graffiti Same here.. My three favorite sci-fi movies! Danny Glover is one of my all time favorite actors. Thanks a lot my dude.. Really appreciate it... We got to collab one day for a video, that would classic haha.
Some major restoration on that building, but the alleyway looks you time traveled back into the 80s. I can image how it was back then. Down Town has some really cool buildings
Absolutely.. However, many locations in the downtown area are still frozen in time. The historical preservation societies are losing battles but wining the war.... You would have a blast!
03:42 - The predator was shown standing on top of the Eastern Columbia Building - just behind the building with the United Artists sign. Subscribed, great content! Keep 'em coming!
Sorry I missed this one, UA-cam notifications have been an issue. ......Yes, thanks a lot!!! In the next part I will be including that epic scene in the film!
I love your attention to detail. Especially with your Ghostbusters video. You even went to locations of shots that were on screen for a few seconds. So cool. And you show all the places in chronological order as they are in the film. Keep it up, and we look forward to more of your videos! Oh and this Predator 2 alley is so cool!
La Fuerza Yes! Coming up in Part 5.. Great Scene.. The underground parts were done in a mix of studio and subway. So, I wasn’t able to get those shots.
Hey bud pause the video exactly 8:39. Is that little roof building thing the thing that Pred jumps on and you see the antenna and the wires in the back? It looks like both the roof an the attena with the wires are close in the movie when he jumps down but here it looks a good distance away from each other. For the movie were they able to do special effects and bring the roof building closer in the frame to make it look like its close to the attena? Or if that's not the case, could the roof have been moved after all these years?
Great Question and attention to detail bud. .. I think it was a prop or as you mentioned, something that is no longer on the roof from aging or whatever. .. I’m leaning towards prop because when I was on the roof look up from the pool, I couldn’t see anything that would make sense to have been occupying that space. The same goes for the stairwell they walk up to look down at the street. And they had to film from the rooftop on Winston St as well for that view. That’s all that was done there from the roof. I think they are inside that building when running up the stairs etc...
Wow I am loving these videos keep them up!! You are definitely leading the boards on UA-cam with the Predator 2 movie locations!!! I was wondering if you know the address to we’re keys truck was parked outside the slaughter house scene. Filming that scene would be cool.
Thanks a lot !! Glad you are enjoying them... You want to laugh? It's the only one I couldn't find lol. They filmed the interior on a soundstage. I wonder if the exterior was also done at another studio because it is not the FOX lot. It is also very possible the building was in the downtown area but no longer standing.
You might be right it might of been filmed at another Studio lot. Thanks so much for these awsome videos. I really appreciate them. I am a Predator fan and I find myself watching Predator 2 more times then the 1st one. I just love Predator 2. Will you be filming the Eastern Building were the most iconic and badass scene took place? We’re the Predator gets struck by lightning. That was also the poster to the movie which is awsome
PREDMINATOR Thanks again! Yes I will! Agreed that scene was 100% badass.. I love the first two. Predators is pretty good as well. I think Predator 2 is a very underrated movie. Joel Silver and Stephen Hopkins did a good job on this one. The things they did and stunts they pulled could never happen today. I’ll get into that in following parts. Awesome!
The roof top scene were Harrigan and Predator are fighting eachother, Pred Throws the spear and Harrigan dodges it and Harrigan pushes Pred off the building. I wonder if that rooftop is the same location were the next shot cuts to Predator falling from the building into the apartment building.
i dont care what anyone says - i prefer predator 2 to part 1. there's so many more memorable moments and quotable scenes. my friends and i would always crack up saying lines from this movie to each other. part 1 is iconic but part 2 is more entertaining.
Would you be scared to go to the King Willey Alley at night? Lol I think I would be. Also the taxidermy scene were Harrigan is looking at the animal trophies will you be filming there too
Awesome footage man. I didn't know it was the same alley way used for the original Terminator. What would you do if you saw a piece of brick falling down and it landed in a puddle of water? LOL. Would you stay like King Willie did?
This is Part 3 of what will be a six part Predator 2 Filming Location Tour. The next part will feature The Cemetery and more.
That’s funny you are wearing a similar hat in the alley that Harrigan was wearing in that scene lol

My uncle was at the sight of the first Predator movie
That’s awesome. I really want to get there some day. Did he visit the water fall?
@@NickP maybe, he didn’t tell me much

I tried to but there was a squad car in the alley. I think it would be spine tingling haha
terminator 1 luficer
Hi,any chance of the location addresses? Im going back end of the year, need to pay respects to king willie!
Yes, my pleasure.. It’s the alley on 8th street, between Broadway and Spring. Walk in from 8th towards 7th.
Wow that alley got tagged up with graffiti over the years even the dumpsters
Yeah it did, you have to see the difference from my last visit compared to this one!
@@NickP cool did you video your last visit can i find it on your channel?
The alley looked creepy as fuck in the movie

Lolll that would be wild. It was the same alley for sure.. Thanks a lot!
When filming Predator 2, they found a corpse in dat alley. True story
Yes.. crazy
