I also want to ask, I followed the directions on installing the filters in the correct manner or in the correct order. And it was still running slow. My water pressure has not changed.
Good morning ☕️ You will want to ensure that the tank psi is properly set to the manufacturers recommended psi prior to installing it and allowing water to enter tank. In our case, the recommended tank psi is 5-7psi.

I was barely getting any water out of the Spicket. I decided I was going to replace the tank. When I was trying to remove the water hose from the tank it started spreading water everywhere so I screwed it back on. Does that mean my tank is OK??
Thanks for watching, any update? This can indeed be due to a faulty tank however not always. Sounds like your tank still had lots of pressure which is a good thing. There might be a clog somewhere else in the lines or filters.

After that, we allowed system to pressurize and probably only disposed a pint glass of water before drinking from system moving forward. Hope this helps. Why not add air to the tank?

How often do you replace the tank? It doesn't give you a recommendation on the AO smith manual. They only tell you to do the filters every 6 months

Sounds like your tank still had lots of pressure which is a good thing. There might be a clog somewhere else in the lines or filters.
