jurymax99 Well, If this show was taped in 1969 (as the caption clearly states) & Stevie Wonder was born in 1950 that would make him 19-years old here. For Stevie to be 29 as you claim, this episode would have had to be aired in 1979? That would be difficult since “The Tom Jones Show” only ran for three years (1969 - 1971). Now Tom Jones was 29-years old here, but that’s not what I said in my comment.

This is TOOO... good. Two of the most iconic voices of the 20th century blessing our souls with their divine voices. Thanks, Stevie and Tom. One more observation: Tom is such a gracious host and selfless duet singer. Notice how he BLENDS with Stevie and does NOT try to out sing him. You will notice he did that with all his guest singers he had on his show. That's class and humility.....
EXACTLY! he is the Johhny Carson of musical hosts..plus he is the man that has been gifted with a whole lot of EVERYTHING! moves, looks, voice, charm, sex appeal masculinity....
There are three more that are amazing. Tom with Janis Joplin. Tom with Crosby Stills and Nash. And truly the best thing I've ever seen (or heard) is Tom with Wilson Pickett.
Stevie Wonder was born in 1950 and if this was 1969....that means he was only 19 years old in this performance. He already had such a high level of showmanship and legendary talent. Sir Tom Jones was in his prime at 29. I like the way @1:41 when Tom Jones gave Stevie some makeshift background vocals, "There's a place in the sun."
This will move you when you see them very old, greeting each other thru videos because of pandemic, friendships that never dies. This guys are legends.

Stevie just wished he long time friend a happy 80th Birthday! Two Great Singers.
I was born in 1969. There's a joy listening to these two great singers.
The minute Stevie opened his mouth to start to sing I was speechless, lost for words their voice just goes together so lovely
And when they started to sing the chorus my lord ‼️🥺
Stevie's voice is ridiculous!! Perfection!!!
😂🤣😂ty dvaja preberú aj mŕtvolu k zivotu
Navždy ofsajd
@@lubicakamzikova3735 huh?
Pure talent...two real Kings of music.
2024 and still an utter brilliant performance.
Stevie's voice was amazing. I love how he blended so well with Tom.
this might be my favourite video ever why did I only find this a few days ago????
There are three more that are amazing. Tom with Janis Joplin. Tom with Crosby Stills and Nash. And truly the best thing I've ever seen (or heard) is Tom with Wilson Pickett.
It's 50 years ago, but damn, what a pair. They realy enjoyed it, so do I. God bless them.
Stevie Wonder only 19! Imagine being able to write and sing like this at 19?! Unimaginable!
Stevie How do you feel ? Uptight and most definitely out of sight. Classic . Now this is a performance
We will never have people like this ever again,
Thanks god for UA-cam!
This allows a young guy like me to watching such iconic and legendary singers in action!
bouncing off each other, what a great soulful vibe.
At 1:17, you can hear how Stevie’s voice pierces the natural reverb in the stage area. Tom’s voice is so mellow, it barely cuts through by comparison.
That was EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the kind of friendship and love the world needs right now
In 19/04/2024 MORE THAN EVER!
This will move you when you see them very old, greeting each other thru videos because of pandemic, friendships that never dies. This guys are legends.
I saw this on the voice uk...i had tears
Wauw . Superb . Nothing more and nothing less. The best ever. ❤😊
Motown and Pop...the real good ol days! Two legends! Timeless!
This is top class. Two amazing singers.
The chemistry in this performance is unreal...the type of astistry & talent you don't see everyday
Tom definitely has Black heritage 🎶 Great duet of all times ❤
They are harmonizing so well at points that it almost sounds like their voices are phasing.
watching in 2019 after 50! years
Same
me also....
Oh yes !
Dopo 50 anni... Sono piu' giovani e moderni loro che i cantanti scimuniti di oggi!
Gary Y Same here!!!
That laugh when they transitioned into “It’s not Unusual” says it all.
👋
Who will tells to this pair that 53 years after they at least will keep a conversation when Stevie will do a video call for congratulation to Tom at his 80 birthday. GOD BLESS BOTH FOR EVER.
I don't know why would anyone dislike this video. This is gold.
These 2 are such legends. They have such humility, love, care and respect for one another and have been forever friends. 2 absolute legends of music.
Imagine,..no voice editing sooo natural sooo beautiful voice..this were the purist artists
