That is an Andersen stabilizer bucket. I bought one this summer to try out and I love it. It seems so much more stable than using the orange blocks. It allows me to not have to put the tongue down so far and creates a more solid base. I would have been much more nervous with those ruts if we still had the 400.
That’s awesome you rode both directions in 2 consecutive days! I’ve ridden from Vienna to new burnside but haven’t been on the rest of it. Have you been on the Katy trail in Missouri? Thanks for sharing.
I did the entire Katy Trail last September and have a 3 part video on that. Great Ride!!! The section from Vienna to New Burnside is the best section on the Tunnel Hill Trail for sure. Even as far as Carrier Mills is nice but much after that you are just riding next to Hwy 45 the whole time. Even from Vienna back to Karnak is pretty uneventful. It is still nice to have done it. There is even a little more I didn't know about that pushes to the other side of Eldorado. I did it last year also. I feel I need to reshoot the video and make sure to get ALL of it this time.
@@mooreoutdoor9841 very cool. Our favorite rail trail is the route of the Hiawatha in northern Idaho. If you haven’t been there, it’s worth looking into.
I have since went back and rode the remaining section in Elderado that I didn't know about on this video. To me the best part is from Vienna to New Burnside and back.
Just watching the first 28 seconds, I am thinking that you need to check out my son's band - State Route 71. They have a new EP dropping September 18. I think that you might like a few of their songs. LOL!
@@mooreoutdoor9841 Their music is...well...not really "metal"...but certainly not "mellow" either. Honestly, I am not really 100% what you would categorize it as. You will just have to check it out. They have an EPK with some videos from a live show on their UA-cam channel.
hey dude, i have rode the tunnel hill trail several times on certin sections. i am going to ride the whole thing. when i get to harrisburg, i will get a room, and then off to da pott dispensery. grab some weed, and a few beers and head back to da room and have a relaxing evening. i did this in colorodo a few years ago. man dat weed was too strong. i don't smoke weed often. i'll see how good a weed dis illinois weed is. ha ha!!

Bike backing is one of my favorite activities. Great video!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

Enjoyed video. Bummer about no icecream.

@@garryhatchett775 I bet it's beautiful up there! I'm in Tennessee. The closest I've been up there is South Dakota (Black Hills).
I rode the same exact ride 2 days prior to this.
Only I did not stay over night, all in one day since I live locally.
I have since went back and rode the remaining section in Elderado that I didn't know about on this video.

Would be really nice if it was paved like the Madison county rail trail
Hey there, Mark! That was a great trip. We enjoy your videos; keep doing your thing.
Glad you enjoyed it. Turned out to be 114 mile total.
I'll try not to wait so long next time before I have another video out.

Thanks! Enjoy the channel.

Good, but please avoid playing with poisonous snakes. 😮
No such thing as a poisonous snake. There are venomous ones but not poisonous ones.
