I just watched this. I would like to tell everyone who is interested that there are also 2 tatting classes on Craftsy, taught by Marilee Rockley. This is an excellent prelude to the first one. Your beginner's version of flipping the stitch is so easy to understand. Thanks.

Alyssa... Can you do that last move where you connect the last pico or explain it again? I can not get the last step.

I couldn't resist your enthousiasme for tatting and made a snowflake myself. My first try at tatting was in 2017 . It ended w broken thread in a 2 shuttle project. You talk about the difficulty with the very last join. This is a join on the right side instead of the others on the left side. I pulled the thread through the picot from front to back (working from the backside) and i think it worked.

Could you do a video on this without it being live. It’s so hard to follow this this all he stopping and starting. Thanks. Beautiful snowflakes! Where’s your snowflake card?

I thought the pattern had 2 stitches between the picots? You did only 1 ds between the 5-2 part? And then again on the 2-5 part? Or does 2 represent one double stitch? It’s kind of confusing.

Great video but I have one question. I finally am figuring out how to do a picot, but when I do it, and then pull on the lower ring, to get more string, pulling on that lower part of the circle, during that, the picot disappears, because it takes away the excess yarn in the picot and it goes from "picot" to "just another knot." So my question is, how do I prevent that happening?

Help peeps. If dashes are Pinchots then each row has 7 pichots each in the pattern. But the snow flakes only have 5. I’m mighty confused. Ive never seen a pattern before.
