He says he loves CinemaSins, have you ever been occasionally annoyed with someone you love? Plus, I don't think there's any basis for them to take the video down.
6:50: well there’s that and the fact that Leia was not intended to be Luke’s sister, the original plan being that the story of the sister would be left unresolved in the OG trilogy in order to be picked up and resolved in the then-planned episodes 7-9, but 7-9 were cancelled and the sister was reimagined as Leia instead of a new character as originally planned.
Why didn’t they just let the “other” Yoda spoke of be Vader? Especially when they LITERALLY did that? They had Leia be Luke’s sister for literally no reason except to get out of a love triangle. Come to think of it, that always happens with love triangles. The main character never actually CHOOSES one of them, it’s always that one of them dies, turns out to be evil, or something else that just makes the choice for them.
I find Jeremy complaining about the Empire "losing" hilarious considering, like you said, not only was the Battle of Hoth a victory for the Empire. But literally the entire God damn movie was the Empire winning. The movie basically begins *and* ends with the heroes running with their tails between their legs and the bad guys victorious.
Yeah they were pretty much on the run from the empire from the start. Even after the battle of hoth the empire kept Pursuing them and didn’t stop. They did eventually get away but not without a casualty and an injury.
Aside from the experience of the big screen, you apparently won’t see much in the way of a reaction to the big twist. It turns out a lot of people thought Vader was lying.
