I absolutely hate wiring! I can do it, I just hate it! I guess it's been like 14 years since I built a Factory 5 Cobra With an 03 cobra engine, T56 and IRS. That thing was an absolute pain, but a custom wiring harness made that aspect a whole lot easier. And I definitely needed something easy in that project! I did not come close to charging that doctor enough money to build that car! That hump over the axle in the exhaust is a pain in the ass on a stock Crown Vic! Yeah, that's a pretty wide H you put in there, but that was the easiest thing to do.
@@MuggCustoms It drains muh brain! Just like you, I'd HAVE to go and do SOMETHING mechanical! I chuckled when I watched you doing the same thing!🤣 I'm NOT dealing with that on my next project! I'll get all the best parts and wiring set up and pay my friend to fly down and do it. He's OCD AF and LOVES wiring stuff! 😱🤣
Another great video, you guy's are kick'n butt, a 40$ wire harness and 6 hours to wire, sounds like a go to me, what does the x pipe do, because i haven't done the final exhaust on the 55 truck yet so i wanted to know if i should put one in, i hear you say David and i think you are Stan just wanted to know if i got that right, sure have enjoyed these videos, keep them coming, little update on my 55 truck since i keep it at my other place i do a lot of the work at my house here then install it at the truck, currently i have made the final radiator tabs, got a rebuilt steering box, intermediate shaft, new drag link w/ idler arm tie rods ends, which they keep sending me the right inner tie rod with the ball joint pressed in backwards so it swings up away from the drag link instead of down, so since they let me keep the first one i put it in the press and bent it into the right position, any-ways i will have videos coming, can't wait to see episode 8 on the F-100 build, and it looks like you have lots of other projects laying around so hope you keep on putting out the videos, have a great Sunday😁😁
@@DesertRatFabrication yes it is stan, every time we mess with wires it makes him want to vomit like stan from south park when he talks to a girl lol We ended up using the H pipe, both of them just equal out the turbulence so its even before the muffler path. Eliminates alot of crackle and pop from unequal tube lengths and supposedly good for performance 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for the kind words, looking forward to seeing what you have up next as well!
@@TimKingENLgenesisman87 Amazon, search for boat GPS speedometers. There are a a bunch of different styles. Ive used these in a few builds and they all have worked. It wont be an exact fit but you can make the cheater plate to make it work out of abs plastic or metal. Detail of how we did it is in episode 2 or 3 of our build I think? Thanks for watching!
"hey Stan"....that's hilarious 😂🤮
Project is coming along great!
