I did a top speed on my DR-Z 110 with a lifan 125 (120cc) 4 speed engine with a 15T/33T gears and it does 58 mph and I'm 175 lbs. The front 13T sprocket gives it power but hurts the top speed. I think it's a good idea to up grade it to a 4 speed shift drum. I'm in the process of building my original DR-Z engine that was damaged by a broken chain. I got my new case and put a 55mm crank in it and I've ordered a YX 60mm /KLX style jug that will bump me up to a 155cc engine. The YX 150/160cc jugs are a cheaper rout to go rather buying a 143 big bore kit. Yes, they are all bored to 60mm and they all fit the KLX and DR-Z 110's. I hope this helps anyone looking to upgrade their pit bikes.
