I was assault four months ago. I reported it. The police has all the information about the person. They still has not arrested the person. I am sharing this story because I want everyone to know that in SF, you are on your own. The justice system is useless. Don't expect any protection. I am just glad to be alive.
SFPD is a joke my car was parked and totaled while I was eating in the mission district. The SFPD operator told me to drive to the precinct and file a complaint. My car was totaled how the hell am I supposed to do that? And I live in the bay but have no clue where that precinct is, it would have been nice to have the address before she hung up on me.
I had to file a report at that Mission location one time. I was assaulted during Pride by a group that robbed people all up and down Market Street that night. I threw hands at them and they beat the shit out of me. The cops show up after the smoke is clear, time after time. Criminals know this and have become emboldened.
Stores need to better designed to deter theft. We shouldn’t waste our tax dollars policing corporations property they leave out to be stolen so easily.
Treat us like a third world country. We will act like a third world country take it from billionaire its a tax lol lol Same news report for the last five years

I’ve also brought cases to the DA office and superior court 8 months ago that went nowhere, and been personally denied from admitting evidence under whistleblower protection from moving forward. These guys literally do not do their jobs.

Some even turned physical but back then the laws were on the retailers side. Now laws as well as corporate policies have changed to coddle these idiot shoplifters. Understaffing claims are full of BS! San Francisco police officers simply does not do their jobs. When a victim reports a crime, they do not want to do reports by responding late or not respond at all. To deflect work to other police stations, the station desk officers falsely tell victims to do self-report online or go back to their stations of their home address. Some san francisco officers slack off by sleeping in police vehicles parked at secluded areas, hanging out the Westlake center in Daly City, etc.
That’s such BS lol. You can turn on a police scanner and hear them going to calls back to back, hella busy. According to a study I found, there are 1,589 sworn officers, with a recommended 2,074. In other words, 75% of what they should be at. Facts aside… If you don’t think the entire country has police staffing issues since the 2020 riots… then I don’t know how I could convince you of this.
