It amuses me that in-video banter has become a lot more relaxed and less stressed about being "super clean" since Mat's retirement from being the four channels' face. Feels more genuine to have the occasional quip out of nowhere.

Matpat, to get the mod working, you only need to download the zip and unzip it into itself and open the file.
after that there should be an exe for the mod and you just need to double click it.

It's a true honor seeing you play our mod.
I don't expect Matt to see this, and I just wanna say this because it's important, but I just wanna say that it's really sad that you didn't download the actual "Silly Billy" mod (actually known as the Hit Single mod). The place you played it on doesn't show everything the FNF mods have to offer. There's a whole bunch of bonus songs in the Hit Single mod and effects/other things during said songs that makes them all visually pleasing, but you didn't get to experience because you didn't download the actual mod.
Yes, i wish he had played the 3D platformer, it would have been cool to see his reaction to that. Although, if he had know of that, he would have not played the other mods in the same video or maybe just not at all.

@@indecisiveponderer643 Because the creators listed the actual mod with the alpha builds, so it's very easy to download the wrong ones. I made the same mistake, gave up, and played it on a website.
Another thing he did was not playing the Trichael song because he thought that song and joyous were one song (I think that was his logic anyways)

Incase anyone is wondering yourself the opponent in silly billy is bf from a timeline where gf or herself as she's called who died, and his lyrics are him wanting herself to be proud of him, but are also a tribute to the person who originally made yourself and helped work on vs sonic.exe 2.0, divide who unfortunately passed away of unknown causes during the development of vs sonic.exe 2.0.

And I respect ALL fan developers, but dude some of these mods are WEIRD, they barely sound like music anymore but that's an opinion ig.

Silly billy is actually bf from an alternative dimension where gf died but, his actual name is Himself/Yourself.
In Himself's/Yourself's universe, he lost gf which in this case she is called Herself, and he tried to do everything to bring Herself back to life.
Also, the reason why Himself/Yourself looks creepy and tall is because bf is actually tall but the creator of FNF decided to make bf, even if he is tall, in an innocent way.
Since Himself/Yourself lost Herself, there isn't any innocence in him
Edit: I suggest you to change your key binds to left (A), down (S), up (j) and right (k) because, nowadays, people change their keybinds so that they don't use the arrow keys

If you haven't been part of the community, we're currently in the new "Lyrics in songs" era.
Silly Billy is a song dedicated to a FNF modding dev who passed away. The character in is called "Yourself" and was based on character concepts made by him.
Hit Single is basically a "collection" of removed, scrapped, and/or cancelled songs from other FNF mods by the brilliant composer "Churgney Gurgney" (Or Sturm) who's known for his epic and emotional compositions in music.
The rest of them are mostly joke/"for fun" songs. :)

Regarding the massive delay and lack of communication over the past couple of years, I believe the devs of FNF wanted to completely rework the code in order to prevent them from having to work on old and flawed code. The base game also had a revamp in the Freeplay menu plus 12 new songs alongside the Weekend 1.
Yeah, there's still even DDLC mods being made these days, but eventually the "popularity" just comes down to how many UA-cam channels are covering them. If we see more channels come back to cover these things, they'll "get big" again, but that often comes down to the whims of the UA-cam algorithm, heh

Silly Billy was supposed to be in the Vs Sonic.exe V3 as a tribute to Divine ,who was a person who worked on the game but sadly passed away.

There is also the COMPLETED version of the ddlc mof called Dok Doki Takover and its filled with cutscenes and the story songs are fairly easy and the art style is so cute! I would love if you played it!

As a person who started playing these kinds of rhythm during covid (meaning I had all day every day to play it) this pains me to watch. also I recommend the 024 mod, it's got great lore, I think you'll like it. (Also you could probably easily collab with a fnf youtuber and get them to play it for you, just an idea)

Daddy Dearest', also referred to as Dad is a character created by PhantomArcade. A former rockstar who is Baby Girlfriend's father and the husband of Mommy Mearest. He serves as the sole antagonist in Week 1 and one of the antagonists during Week 5. He was an upcoming playable character in the Sonic.Exe mod before said mod was cancelled and the song was moved here. He faces off against No More Innocence in the song Fakebaby.
