I know I speak for many in saying that we'd love to see some tier 3 and 4 emd SD 70ACe's
Your Tier 4 GEVos are *AWESOME* !!!! 🏆🥇⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I bought one of these a few months ago and I gotta say I'm not disappointed with my purchase! You guys did a stellar job at detailing this locomotive!
Here is a suggestion to you guys, as well as any other manufacturer of high end model trains:
You will make the engine much more authentic with see-trough truck/bogie designs. Is there a way that you can shape the under carriage of each truck to a design that seems as if each axle has an individual traction motor? If you look at how Overland brass models made their trucks to where it looks like each axle has an individual traction motor, if you guys can cast such a design, as to where you may not have to compremise the exposure of the gear ⚙ linkage to each axle instead of a full box cover on each truck, this will unanimously put ScaleTrains.com above any other manufacturer out there with modern mainline power hands down!!!!!
Chassis designs like this have been around for a long time (like the Ajin/OMI trucks you mentioned), but the problem is that it's more expensive to make and requires more precision. When competing with other manufacturers of plastic models like Athearn and BLI, you have to keep the costs down to where people will want to pay for your model instead of the competitor's model. I think it would be great to have that see-through design too, but as long as long as everyone keeps shouting "the hobby is too expensive", I don't think it'll happen. :(
I must honestly say that I love ScaleTrains products. So prototypical and detailed to the finest. I love that you listen to the customers and make changes accordingly, something your competitors do not do and they certainly don’t respond to the customers emails. And because you value the customer and produce quality. That’s the reason I have every Carbon Black and numerous items nearly reaching 100 in count. Can’t wait for the locomotives, will be purchasing 2 of BNSF, UP, CSX, and NS. Keep doing what you’re doing ScaleTrains. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Shane please go with Kadee couplers those plastic one don't last when doing operations!
Second that
Definitely getting the 100 CN Special ET!
At 70 years old, steam was vanishing in my child hood. The only thing interesting about dismals, as I call them, was the paint. So glad I built a live steamer. I don't expect to be your customer.
Ordered BNSF and KCS. The Demonstrator and BNSF I already have are awesome
Do you guy's ever plan to make SD70ACES?
or the Newest Tier 4 loco
I'm leaving a comment here because I know you folks at Scale Trains actually do read these comments and respond to many also. I am blown away with every one of the Scale Trains engines that I currently own: Museum Quality Turbine UP #26, SD40-2's Southern #'s 3317 & 3327 and N&W #6074, ET44AC CN #3068, C39-8 NS #8622, and SD40T-2's SP #'s 8307, 8369, 8546, and 8558, and C40-9 NS #8772 on order currently with plans to buy another CN ET44AC and a Rio Grande SD40T-2 very soon, and definitely future runs of tunnel motors. The tunnel motors are my absolute favorites! All Rivet Counter HO scale non-sound by the way. So now you know I'm putting my money where my mouth is. Here are just a few ideas for future projects: U50C (you already have the correct tooling for the trucks 😉), P30CH, and 1960's thru '80s era UP CA cupola cabooses and 60's-80's era Santa Fe Ce Class offset cupola cabooses. As far as I know, the U50C and the P30CH have never been done in plastic, and you guys can set the bar and set it high right from the start. And I'm just sayin', if an SP (like fantasy scheme and lighting) U50C should be offered, Santa Claus already has 4 on his list from me in addition to the UP engines I would buy too....you know, just sayin'. Anyway, thanks for listening to my dreams and more so for building great model trains!
i preordered a cn 100 tier 4!
Esta maquina está um show! Parabéns!
Hi Shane what are your plans for the safety stripes on the KCS handrails? No manufacturer in plastic has ever produced the KCS safety stripes on a model. Can these be factory pad printed or similar? Microscale makes the handrail decals but they are an absolute nightmare to get even nearly correct. Please dont just do the handrails in yellow instead; that looks like a terrible compromise, which is what one of your competitors does; awful. Keep up the good work! Wayne
Amazing work on these locomotives. Although a bit too new for my era, I have a number of engines on preorder that do match my era. The one question I always have with each video is what’s the name of the music at the beginning and end of the video.
How come y'all won't make a nonpowered version of this unit for those of us who cannot afford the powered units. Please if you will, make a nonpowered unit. So that we modelers can have some of these beautiful units.
Question do you carry models of Tropicana cars 64inch reefers
Heres some feedback. O scale 2 rail!!!!!
Just a quick question will the trade tariffs between the US and China affect the up-and-coming releases and price.?
Please do 1943 locomotive
No KCS???
Tell ScaleTrains you insist on having the KCS safety stripes, not solid yellow, like have messaged above. Thanks
With whom and where can we provide such feedback?
I will buy the UP one
I'm thinking about ordering KCS & NS
Tell ScaleTrains you insist on having the KCS safety stripes, not solid yellow, like have messaged above. Thanks
Too bad you don’t make O scale locomotives. Because none of the O scale manufacturers put this much effort into being as accurate as your locomotives are.
Great models but imo et44s just look bad in general, the es44 looked way nicer.
No interest. Be nice to see manufacturers come out with something other that what everyone else is doing.
Who else is doing a T4 other than INTM???
Sorry my apologies because all these engines today all look the same. Maybe come out with something that wasn’t made past 1990 for a change. Lots to choose from and they all have their own look. Today’s engine all have the nascar look, all the same with a minor change like a fan.
@@edeptula2992 oh ok I got ya. Yeah I see your point. Almost everyone nowadays has made a Gevo. I dont go for the more older stuff but good luck sir.
