- Happy Fretless Friday! I'm definitely going to revisit this tune on the fretless sometime, it's got potential to sound really cool, I think! I'm also going to figure out why my external mic keeps turning the audio off. It cut the audio in the middle of the former take for some reason. Mysterious.

"We're not fretting because it's Friday" was delivered in such a dry style that I couldn't tell if it was deliberate.
Have fun at summer camp! Tip: Bring a pillow, towel, and maybe some bedding from home even if it's provided. It makes trips so much better! Also, put your name on anything important - it helps if something gets misplaced and also helps since other people may have similar / identical things.
Now my day is complete! I got to watch your excellent banjo playing, and a cameo appearance by the chickens! 🐔 🐔 🙂❤

This reminds me of how much I miss living in the country. City life is bearing down on me...working my fingers to the bone to make ends meet, looking forward to dying with boney fingers.
There was a time I popped open my door to pine and deep blue skies...not a cent in my bank account....but a smile I fondly remember. Kids...you do things for them they might never really understand.

That is outstanding. That’s a song I’m not familiar with. I’m not familiar with banjo music but I always take away something new along with a smile and a couple laughs. I’m not sure if it’s just me but the song selection, the strumming style and the fretless combined made for a really unique effect. It sounded as if there were two people playing. The playing style seemed to provide a bass guitar accompanying feel and the sliding of the fretless fills in the gaps Ing a chorus type of effect. Everything together made for a really full, complex sound. Very nice. As for the hat trick, I’ve been able to get a couple laughs by putting a few layers of sunglasses on and dramatically removing them layer by layer. I learned that by watching the movie Airplane. 3 layers on average but four layers if you can find one of the huge sunglasses many elderly folks have been known to wear. Have a good time at camp.
I liked the way the plant next to danced to the music 😂

Music camps are great! I do 5 or 6 workshops a year (bowed strings mostly). Be yourself, make friends, play till 2am every night, and return year after year.
do not worry too much about your audio . I listen on the speakers of my Mac air the fretless kills it. I love this channel.
A spritz bath for Squidward, (we're having a heatwave), but fret not it's Friday...(I bet you could fit those buckets under yet another) You are a gem.

well I thought last fretless Friday was great you mentioned you didn’t have time to practice, it sure looks like you had time to practice this week with all that sliding and picking and grinning. Have fun at camp you will love it, and I can’t imagine you don’t make friends wherever you go😊
