Honestly, I’ve always loved Stinger. He may be a side character, but I think he’s the first Hero outside Saitama and Genos we see actually win a fight. Against the Deep Sea Folk. There’s also the bit where Garou compares Mega Mouse, Shower Head, and Unihorn’s combo move as being similar to Stinger’s attack. I consider Stinger somewhere around Above Tiger to Low Demon in terms of combat ability.
The thing people tend to not realise is that every S-Class hero is above the minimum requirement for the S-Class. So you can be weaker than any given S-Class hero and still be worthy of the rank.
Personally, I do think there's enough evidence to support the idea of Fubuki being S-class. While she did struggle against Do-s during their first fight, it was largely due to her hesitating because her group was under Do-s mind control. But even then she actually pretty handedly did beat Do-s in their second fight pretty blatantly. Soon after she was able to tank a blast from Rover, the same blast that almost killed a Garou that oneshot Royal ripper, on top of that she supported and healed TTM, then saved Genos, and that after all that she fought a tired Psykos while she was also tired and won. She did all of that back to back with barely any break. It's also implied that Fubuki's power was nerfed the whole time due to her inferior complex like with Darkshine, Amai Mask, and a young Tatsumaki, though that might be just headcannon.
All of the S Class with the exception of Tank Top and Puri are pretty much above what it means to be S class so alot of people can qualify for. Another rank needs to be made sense they can defeat dragons who are much stronger than demons. Suiryu is definitely S class level he's a complete monster he was able to harm Bakuzan with minimum effort after being severely weakend. Psykos herself is literally above all of the S class with the exception of Tatsumaki and Blast
Yeah heroes like tatsumaki, blast, bang, flashy flash, etc are way above the other S classes. Theyre in another league really. While the others strugle agaisnt low level dragons they no diff strong ones☠️. Hell tasumaki would have low diffed a orochi+ psykos fusion amped by god if she wasnt holding back
Its a running gag in one punch man that people's statements, especially regarding how strong someone is, are almost always wrong. Sitch thought 3 randos could deal with all those criminals, and he was incredibly wrong. Its highly unlikely they could've dealt with Sonic had Sonic chosen to try killing them too based on the fact they didn't notice Sonic stealing Sitch's notes. Sitch, of course, has also underestimated Saitama. So I really don't think any of those 3 body guards are S class in power
Yeah I think he was leaning closer to "close to S class" here too, out of curiosity can you think of any other instances of statements being way off other then with Saitama and King?

Obviously just usually underestimating you see in anime like Sonic thinking he was on par with Flash, Garou thinking he could handle Watchdogman and other S class heroes to early on etc. Statement from characters are a lot of the time non factual, plus the added part of mangka probably just adds statements and doesn’t think too deeply about powerscaling.

Fubuki IS A-Class Material, considering she's B-Class rank 1. She just chooses not to move up to A-Class since she thinks she'd never be able to get past Sweet Mask and the 3 Disciples
Fubuki definitely has S-Class abilities. The only problem, as we see in the MA arc, is that they aren’t combat abilities. To borrow a term from a superhero RPG, her S-Class ability is Bio-Physical control. She’s basically a psychic surgeon. She literally saved Genos’ and TTM’s lives. 😁

Says in the video And S-class heroes are far beyond the minimal requirements of S-class, especially the mid to high level S-class. The matchups do matter and the overall condition of the heroes do matter for performance.
Just what Genos could do in season 1 alone should be used as an example of how devastating a Demon level threat can be. Not all of them are equal with the destructive capabilities, but in overall power they legit can fight an army (or a good portion of it).

Nah those three who got folded by Garou are absolute bums and frauds. We even saw Magic Man get subdued by the tiger level threat Forest Tribe. Golden Ball did way better against Garou than those three did combined.
I have to hard disagree, while it's true they probably aren't S level, I think the issue with them more has to do with how unbalanced their capability is, like yeah Blue Flame absolutely couldn't defend himself from Garou, but his attack basically disintegrated the guys behind where Garou was, and Magic Man can be very tricky and quick, but just isn't really a brute at all, just doesn't pack much of a punch.
Also I looked up that chapter (it wasn't to prove anything it just sounded interesting) and he got subdued by Forest King, that was dragon level, yeah he was struggling against Forest Tribe, but that was more due to sheer numbers then them being more powerful then him, not to mention the fact although we don't see it, Forest King could be the reason why his dove play didn't seem to work well, given how he seemed surprised at how quickly they were taken out.
