Two of them means two from the group and in this context it insinuates two of the generals. As goribas got one shot by Saitama while geryuganshoop was only able to face Saitama without demonstrating much of his abilities they could literally range from wolf to high dragons granted with the context they'd at least be demons but we know nothing about them thus it is hard to rate their strength. If Saitama comes across a new monster and easily one-shots it, we can’t know whether it was strong or weak without resorting to statements, appearance or environmental damage, which isn’t ideal at all and makes it “hard” to figure out their strength. If Puri easily beats weak monsters and struggles with strong monsters, and he struggles with a monster, we can guess it is probably strong. Scaling is a lot easier if characters are similar in strength. This is why a monster coming across Saitama and being quickly one-shot isn’t ideal. Not that complicated 😑

Saitama one shot those 2 much like pretty much all his opponents apart from Monster Garou and Boros. thus we didn't see their full potential and how deadly they really are. For all we know Geryunganshoop could be stronger than Tatsumaki we just didn't see it. (though I doubt it)
It's tough to say anything definitively, but I'm willing to Give Groribas the benefit of the doubt. If he's Boros' number 1 fighter, than he's got to be way stronger, tougher and faster than Melzargard, so if Melzargard vs Garou would be in any way competitive, than Groribas would at least be a very tough fight, at least for human Garou, once you get into half monster Garou I think that gap would start to shrink pretty quickly
Melzargard's ultimate form is noted to be when it combines all five heads together into one, which is referred to as its "ultimate body", and therein "its power, speed and intelligence are all dramatically increased". This also means when it killed Sky King with one attack when all five heads were not fused (only sharing a single body), it was dramatically below its full power. Further, once Bang deflects its attack back at it, one if the heads is ejected to try to return to the ship, and never returns to the main body afterwards. Id est, the majority of the battle actually occurred when Melzargard was not at full power, and, depending on what "dramatically increased" means, by a significant margin. Metal Bat does not begin fighting it until after it ejects one of its heads, so its full power does not inherently scale to Metal Bat keeping up with a weaker form, and the other two generals would scale up from that. I would also imagine its durability does not really scale to its attack potency as Iaian after seeing Puri punch holes in it is still worried about Puri needing to dodge its attack.

an issue on what you said about bang's statement of melzagard's regen can be figured out by a monkey. what bang said only apply to when melzagard's entire body was destroyed, something only atomic samurai was able to do alone among the 4 S class fighting melzagard, and since garou is basically just much weaker bang and never shown to possess large scale attack until later forms, he most likely won't be able to figure out where the marble is since he can't destroy melzagard's entire body to force him to regen from his head

tbh if you really wanna call the rating into question thats fine tbh. I think the rating they give is fair at that given point but like in the Web comic, Manga, Anime the monsters can always be upgraded to higher levels. How i see it whatever they are listed as or until the time of their death would be XYZ with the rating Dragon with a high likely hood of being greater. I feel like the rating they get is always the base point and if you wanna give a more accurate rating of what a Monster could do i would say (cold be a cool video idea who knows) Like what we see 1 monster can do and compare the feats shown along side ONE and Murata statements to possibly add more to them. I mean if Garou was in the same situation he would be defeated as well. The only reason Melzagaard was a big problem was mainly because of his regeneration, not his power since he barely damaged Silverfang, with one of his strongest attacks
Plus, Bang was way more serious in his Garou fight than in the Melzagaard and nearly killed Garou when he was already severely injured by the A class heroes and Genos
So stop being petty mate. Melzagaard is not as strong as you said, if he didn't have that busted regeneration, he would've been severely injured by Ian and outright killed by Atomic Samurai

Love the video, but I found one mistake. 30:53 Fubuki has consistently shown to have no Clue what she is even talking about when it comes to the S class. Any claims from her about anything S class tier has no meaning, all ti tells us is that SHE thinks they would have died from it. I think its almost the joke of her character.
The more i learn about OPM power scaling, the more it really seems like Deep Sea King was just a super unlucky freak accident since literally any S Class aside from early Prisoner could’ve handled him, even current Prisoner 💀
Not so much that but the S-Class are rarely able to react to threats because of how spread out they are. That’s why Demon level threats are considered such a big deal even though they only really occur on a monthly basis overall
early genos might also lose to DSK even if he didn't drop his guard or having to protect civilians, since his sneak attack full power incineration cannon only put a small hole in DSK that he regenerated in seconds, while DSK can one shot genos with his acid and can take all of genos's attacks (beside incineration cannon) with almost no damage
Melzargard is like Buu from DBZ. Bullets puncture Buu but would you say he's pistol level? No because he has low durability and high regeneration, just like Melzargard. Melzargard can use slicing attacks and can create a multitude of limbs to land attacks on Garou. Garou can take strong blunt attacks. But he can get peirced by arrows so Melzargard should be able to cut and stab Garou.
Prediction before watching the video (will edit the comment when I finish it): Hero hunter looses, but puts up a better fight than most people think. Start of Darkshine fight has a pretty good chance to win. End of Darkshine fight wins. Any version after that completely stomps. Edit: Good video, looks like I was right for the most part, but I admit, I didn't thing Hero Hunter Garou was THAT strong before watching the video.
@@Brolinit2 Any evidence for them being so strong? The feats we have for them are (I'm awful at pronouncing their names): Melzergard getting bullied by some S class heroes. Puri reacting to him, Bang tanking an attack from him with no damage sustained whatsoever, base Metal Bat reacting to him and bodying him for the most part and so on. Groribas and the octopus get one shot by a casual punch. The only one of them who has feats is Melzergard, and his feats kinda suck. There's also a statement that even with prep time, all 3 of them working together would have next to 0 chances of beating pre redraw Orochi, who's (at most) on par with Platinum S. You need actual proof to say they're on the level of someone like Platinum S, which just isn't there.

Tank Top Master, a stronger S class hero, got bodied by Garou the moment Garou started to take that fight seriously. BASE Metal Bat could react to Melzargard’s attacks, dodge them, block them, parry them and so on. He could also tag Melzargard numerous times and deal substantial damage to him. A similar base Metal Bat was relative to Senior Centipede and later absolutely demolished him by pumping himself up. Then he fought Elder Centipede and got even MORE pumped up. Then he fought Garou and got folded. He didn’t land a single blow during that entire fight. Garou was blocking and parrying his hits with ease and at the end would’ve only been hit by Metal Bat’s final attack because he was caught completely off guard. So, with all that established, Melzargard < Base Metal Bat < Pumped Metal Bat < More pumped Metal Bat < Garou in stats. The ONLY reason Melzargard survived against the S class for as long as he did was because of his regeneration. He couldn’t hit them, he couldn’t damage them, he was constantly getting blitzed by every single one of them. Bang got caught off guard once and just tanked his attack like nothing. Melzargard has trash speed scaling, trash AP and trash durability. In a fight against Hero Hunter Garou, Melzargard is getting blitzed and one shot over and over until Garou figures out the marble thing and destroys all the marbles. “Platinum sp is way above Orochi. Golden sp is a bit above Orochi” “Btw, human Garou was no match for Orochi what are you talking about?” You misunderstood my argument completely. In Your first reply, You said: “Bet most of them are on Platinum sp level” referring to the Generals. I brought up an interview in which One of the creators of the manga (I don’t remember if it was One or Murata) said that even with prep time, all working together, the Generals would stand minimal chance against Orochi. Giving You the benefit of the doubt, I said that Orochi is (at best) Platinum S level. So Your original statement, where You said the Generals are Platinum S level, is completely wrong, as Orochi would body all 3 of them at once. I do agree that Orochi is most likely around Golden S level give or take, I was just giving You the benefit of the doubt in my original reply. I never once said anything about Human Garou being relative to Orochi, as he is clearly not. “The same way overgrown rover was too much for Garou is same way Melzargard will be for him too.” 1. I already established that Melzargard would get murder stomped by Garou. 2. Rover is FAR stronger than Melzargard 3. Rover didn’t actually beat Garou. In fact, neither one of them could damage each other, as Garou tanked dozens of blasts from Rover and wasn’t even phased by them. In fact, he was getting stronger all throughout that fight and was in good enough shape to fight suppressed Orochi right afterwards. “Golden sp one shot Tatsumaki in webcomic” Tatsumaki was very fatigued when that happened and it was flat out confirmed by one of the creators of the manga that at full power, Tatsu would win against Golden S. I could provide You the scan if we were on Discord, but since it’s the UA-cam comments, I can’t really do that. “You don't use Saitama's opponents. Boros too could've had a lot up his sleeve against a different opponent but he got made fun of by Saitama.” Boros had actual feats that could give us an idea on how to properly scale him. Groribas and Geryuganshoop have nothing. In a VS battle, they have 0 AP, 0 durability and 0 speed scaling. The best thing we can say about them is that they are relative to Melzargard, since the 3 of them are the top Generals on Boros’ ship and would presumably have to be of a similar caliber. That’s it. Another way to confirm this is that Geryuganshoop thought that if he and Melzargard teamed up on Saitama, they could take him down. If Geryuganshoop and Groribas were far stronger than Melzargard, then he wouldn’t have asked Melzargard for help against Saitama, who at that point had already beaten Groribas. Even if we didn’t have that, You can’t just assume that the two completely featless Generals are anywhere near close to Platinum S in power. TLDR: Human Garou murder stomps the Generals individually. If they all work together, then MAYBE with teamwork they could take him.
I never stopped to think that, just because one monster is a say a low demon level doesn't necessarily mean It would istantly get murked by a high demon level. Interesting thought.

Not really since the significant speed gap between Garou and Geryuganshoop would allow Garou to not be sucked into the backhole which wouldn't really kill him, let alone damage him fatally since its not an actual blackhole, just an esper technique that can replicate the gravity pull of a blackhole
@@veriousshifter2930 but all a black hole is, is a strong gravity pull even if it's not a real black hole but the same gravity it should still have the same effects such as tearing things apart, pulling in light ect. It might not have the same spin or hole so it's more of a controlled one that won't destroy everything around it but it will have the same effect and with a pull like that they could theoretically create an actual black hole even if it's a small one a 1mm black hole could destroy the earth

Great video, only thing I disagree with is the with deep sea kings spit speed thing. Groribas’s whole design was made for acid based attacks it seems so I can’t imagine they are even worth a comparison. Just like post darkshine fight Garou against the 3 generals lol. But initial Garou would get pretty badly stomped in my opinion (by all 3)
Yoink, I know I’m 8 months late but I think it would be fun to share my idea on the 3 v 1 match-up. (Also I’m sorry for probably messing up all the 3 guys’ names) In the three vs one match with a human Garou, I figured it would be fun to come up with a strategy. I think Geryuganshoop would have to hang back and play more of a support role for Melzagard and Groribas by either moving them out of the way of Garou’s attacks, or simply using telekinesis to stop Garou’s attacks from landing on Groribas. I also think he would be able to launch surrounding debris at Garou, shaping the environment in a favorable way and keeping Garou on his toes. I think Melzagard would play a meat shield role and try to keep Garou on his toes, trying to tag him and occupy some damage. I think he could try to split into two or three different bodies, to try and occupy Garou even more, but if I understand correctly, that could make it easier for Garou to hit pearls, and if Garou recognizes that key weakness the strategy would probably fall apart. Finally, I think Groribas would be the main damage dealer, shooting acid (mixed with the debris from telekinesis) to limit Garou’s movements, and then when Garou is in the right position, Groribas could try landing one or two powerful strikes on Garou. In the end I think it would be a pretty hard fought battle, and if Garou figures out about Melzagard’s pearls, or manages to take out Geryuganshoop early on, the fight would easily go in his favor. If anyone still cares or is interested in discussing these ideas, I’d love to chat.
Also this is assuming Groribas’s acid is like Xenomorph blood times 10, I’m using a lot of reference for Groribas. I’m also inferring his strength, not to be on the level of Boros or Saitama, but at least stronger than Genos, Sea King, and Prisoner.

Luck with match-ups would also come into threat level rankings. Beefcake would have been raised to Dragon if he didn't run into Saitama when he did. The one Gorilla Commando monster had been folding A-Class heroes with the specific intention of being raised from Tiger to Demon, and the Association had taken notice. So he probably would have been raised if he didn't encounter Cyborg Gorilla. And you cannot convince me Psykorochi wouldn't have been raised to God Level if Tatsumaki hadn't been there. It should apply to the Monster Association tho, as their threat levels are mostly assigned by Psykos and she can read power levels. A lot of monsters get taken out before they can reach their potential maximum ranking due to running into the wrong hero.
i dont think your scaling of monster tiers is accurate, true that agression changes things but rankings exist primerally to see what heroes and how many are needed to fight it,most demons can be beat by A rank squads while no dragon level can be defeated even by all the A class. There are exceptions but i wouldnt say they matter as theres only a handful at most.
If its high level dragons like the Monster Cadre than yes, but if its a lower dragon lvl than the strongest demon lvl monster can at least compete or even defeat them under the right circumstance
If its fully monster Garou, then maybe he could stand a chance but would probably be defeated by fully powered up Boros, which was able to launch Saitama all the way to the Moon in seconds. And I don't think we need to talk about Cosmic Fear Garou

The reason why one punch fans are fast to click off is because most channels made to scale one punch characters are made by goku fan boys and they always do it in a way that's disgusting and inaccurate so forgive them because that's what they are expecting
Threat level is based on danger to humanity, isn't it? So, imagine a dude whose strongest attack is... like, a hand grenade. But his AoE covers the entire planet. 99% of the Hero Association is surviving that attack, but every living creature that isn't super will just die. His threat level would be Dragon at *minimum* because he could easily wipe out the entire (non-super) human race.

I hate the fight between Garo and Death gattlings crew; its just the fact that he is clearly supposed to keep getting weaker as Genos and then Bang shows up. Like he was tired, poisoned etc... And hes still able to not die for so long against all these people one after the other. There comes a point where strength stops being cool and just becomes rediculous Imo (I know saitama is in that area but its okay because thats his gimmick) I just dont like Garo because of that frankly, its like he has uber plot armor And becoming literally more durable by a memory is also stupid. The reason it's interesting is that you realize that it's more than just main character plot armor. Garou is literally turning into a monster through the influence of God.

Love the video, but I found one mistake.
30:53 Fubuki has consistently shown to have no Clue what she is even talking about when it comes to the S class. Any claims from her about anything S class tier has no meaning, all ti tells us is that SHE thinks they would have died from it. I think its almost the joke of her character.
The more i learn about OPM power scaling, the more it really seems like Deep Sea King was just a super unlucky freak accident since literally any S Class aside from early Prisoner could’ve handled him, even current Prisoner 💀
Not so much that but the S-Class are rarely able to react to threats because of how spread out they are. That’s why Demon level threats are considered such a big deal even though they only really occur on a monthly basis overall
early genos might also lose to DSK even if he didn't drop his guard or having to protect civilians, since his sneak attack full power incineration cannon only put a small hole in DSK that he regenerated in seconds, while DSK can one shot genos with his acid and can take all of genos's attacks (beside incineration cannon) with almost no damage

Melzargard is like Buu from DBZ. Bullets puncture Buu but would you say he's pistol level? No because he has low durability and high regeneration, just like Melzargard. Melzargard can use slicing attacks and can create a multitude of limbs to land attacks on Garou. Garou can take strong blunt attacks. But he can get peirced by arrows so Melzargard should be able to cut and stab Garou.

Melzergard getting bullied by some S class heroes. Puri reacting to him, Bang tanking an attack from him with no damage sustained whatsoever, base Metal Bat reacting to him and bodying him for the most part and so on.
Groribas and the octopus get one shot by a casual punch.
The only one of them who has feats is Melzergard, and his feats kinda suck.
There's also a statement that even with prep time, all 3 of them working together would have next to 0 chances of beating pre redraw Orochi, who's (at most) on par with Platinum S.
You need actual proof to say they're on the level of someone like Platinum S, which just isn't there.

1. Garou was poisoned, injured and tired out from all his fights with numerous heroes at that point (from the top of my head: he got his foot shot, got his hand stabbed, took several hits from Tank Top Master before getting serious in their fight, got wrecked by Watchdog Man, got wrecked by Saitama twice, got hit with several poisoned arrows in the back, got cut numerous times all over his body and so on. All of this happened within the span of a couple days.) Garou was FAR from being at full power.
2. Even in this weakened state, he was able to tag and damage Genos a few times during their fight.
3. At the end of the fight, he gets a huge powerup that shocks even Bang.
4. Bang later states that he didn’t hold back against Garou at any point in their battle, so Your “Bang toyed with him and didn't kill him when he had the chance to” is flat out confirmed to be wrong by Bang himself and there is absolutely no reason for him to lie in that scene or “be humble”, as he’s just stating a fact.
In the Melzargard Fight, Puri Puri - the self admitted weakest S class hero, was able to dodge, tank and block his attacks, react to his speed and damage him substantially. Tank Top Master, a stronger S class hero, got bodied by Garou the moment Garou started to take that fight seriously. BASE Metal Bat could react to Melzargard’s attacks, dodge them, block them, parry them and so on. He could also tag Melzargard numerous times and deal substantial damage to him. A similar base Metal Bat was relative to Senior Centipede and later absolutely demolished him by pumping himself up. Then he fought Elder Centipede and got even MORE pumped up. Then he fought Garou and got folded. He didn’t land a single blow during that entire fight. Garou was blocking and parrying his hits with ease and at the end would’ve only been hit by Metal Bat’s final attack because he was caught completely off guard.
So, with all that established, Melzargard < Base Metal Bat < Pumped Metal Bat < More pumped Metal Bat < Garou in stats.
The ONLY reason Melzargard survived against the S class for as long as he did was because of his regeneration. He couldn’t hit them, he couldn’t damage them, he was constantly getting blitzed by every single one of them. Bang got caught off guard once and just tanked his attack like nothing. Melzargard has trash speed scaling, trash AP and trash durability.
In a fight against Hero Hunter Garou, Melzargard is getting blitzed and one shot over and over until Garou figures out the marble thing and destroys all the marbles.

You misunderstood my argument completely. In Your first reply, You said: “Bet most of them are on Platinum sp level” referring to the Generals. I brought up an interview in which One of the creators of the manga (I don’t remember if it was One or Murata) said that even with prep time, all working together, the Generals would stand minimal chance against Orochi. Giving You the benefit of the doubt, I said that Orochi is (at best) Platinum S level. So Your original statement, where You said the Generals are Platinum S level, is completely wrong, as Orochi would body all 3 of them at once. I do agree that Orochi is most likely around Golden S level give or take, I was just giving You the benefit of the doubt in my original reply. I never once said anything about Human Garou being relative to Orochi, as he is clearly not.

1. I already established that Melzargard would get murder stomped by Garou.
2. Rover is FAR stronger than Melzargard
3. Rover didn’t actually beat Garou. In fact, neither one of them could damage each other, as Garou tanked dozens of blasts from Rover and wasn’t even phased by them. In fact, he was getting stronger all throughout that fight and was in good enough shape to fight suppressed Orochi right afterwards.

Tatsumaki was very fatigued when that happened and it was flat out confirmed by one of the creators of the manga that at full power, Tatsu would win against Golden S. I could provide You the scan if we were on Discord, but since it’s the UA-cam comments, I can’t really do that.

Boros had actual feats that could give us an idea on how to properly scale him. Groribas and Geryuganshoop have nothing. In a VS battle, they have 0 AP, 0 durability and 0 speed scaling. The best thing we can say about them is that they are relative to Melzargard, since the 3 of them are the top Generals on Boros’ ship and would presumably have to be of a similar caliber. That’s it. Another way to confirm this is that Geryuganshoop thought that if he and Melzargard teamed up on Saitama, they could take him down. If Geryuganshoop and Groribas were far stronger than Melzargard, then he wouldn’t have asked Melzargard for help against Saitama, who at that point had already beaten Groribas.
Even if we didn’t have that, You can’t just assume that the two completely featless Generals are anywhere near close to Platinum S in power.
TLDR: Human Garou murder stomps the Generals individually. If they all work together, then MAYBE with teamwork they could take him.

Not really since the significant speed gap between Garou and Geryuganshoop would allow Garou to not be sucked into the backhole which wouldn't really kill him, let alone damage him fatally since its not an actual blackhole, just an esper technique that can replicate the gravity pull of a blackhole
@@veriousshifter2930 but all a black hole is, is a strong gravity pull even if it's not a real black hole but the same gravity it should still have the same effects such as tearing things apart, pulling in light ect. It might not have the same spin or hole so it's more of a controlled one that won't destroy everything around it but it will have the same effect and with a pull like that they could theoretically create an actual black hole even if it's a small one a 1mm black hole could destroy the earth

Great video, only thing I disagree with is the with deep sea kings spit speed thing. Groribas’s whole design was made for acid based attacks it seems so I can’t imagine they are even worth a comparison. Just like post darkshine fight Garou against the 3 generals lol. But initial Garou would get pretty badly stomped in my opinion (by all 3)

Yoink, I know I’m 8 months late but I think it would be fun to share my idea on the 3 v 1 match-up. (Also I’m sorry for probably messing up all the 3 guys’ names)
In the three vs one match with a human Garou, I figured it would be fun to come up with a strategy. I think Geryuganshoop would have to hang back and play more of a support role for Melzagard and Groribas by either moving them out of the way of Garou’s attacks, or simply using telekinesis to stop Garou’s attacks from landing on Groribas. I also think he would be able to launch surrounding debris at Garou, shaping the environment in a favorable way and keeping Garou on his toes.
I think Melzagard would play a meat shield role and try to keep Garou on his toes, trying to tag him and occupy some damage. I think he could try to split into two or three different bodies, to try and occupy Garou even more, but if I understand correctly, that could make it easier for Garou to hit pearls, and if Garou recognizes that key weakness the strategy would probably fall apart.
Finally, I think Groribas would be the main damage dealer, shooting acid (mixed with the debris from telekinesis) to limit Garou’s movements, and then when Garou is in the right position, Groribas could try landing one or two powerful strikes on Garou.
In the end I think it would be a pretty hard fought battle, and if Garou figures out about Melzagard’s pearls, or manages to take out Geryuganshoop early on, the fight would easily go in his favor. If anyone still cares or is interested in discussing these ideas, I’d love to chat.
Also this is assuming Groribas’s acid is like Xenomorph blood times 10, I’m using a lot of reference for Groribas. I’m also inferring his strength, not to be on the level of Boros or Saitama, but at least stronger than Genos, Sea King, and Prisoner.

Luck with match-ups would also come into threat level rankings. Beefcake would have been raised to Dragon if he didn't run into Saitama when he did. The one Gorilla Commando monster had been folding A-Class heroes with the specific intention of being raised from Tiger to Demon, and the Association had taken notice. So he probably would have been raised if he didn't encounter Cyborg Gorilla. And you cannot convince me Psykorochi wouldn't have been raised to God Level if Tatsumaki hadn't been there.
It should apply to the Monster Association tho, as their threat levels are mostly assigned by Psykos and she can read power levels.
A lot of monsters get taken out before they can reach their potential maximum ranking due to running into the wrong hero.

i dont think your scaling of monster tiers is accurate, true that agression changes things but rankings exist primerally to see what heroes and how many are needed to fight it,most demons can be beat by A rank squads while no dragon level can be defeated even by all the A class.
There are exceptions but i wouldnt say they matter as theres only a handful at most.
For the whole thing with the threat levels the community has infact fixed this roughly by just say high/low/mid/above threat level.

Threat level is based on danger to humanity, isn't it? So, imagine a dude whose strongest attack is... like, a hand grenade. But his AoE covers the entire planet. 99% of the Hero Association is surviving that attack, but every living creature that isn't super will just die.
His threat level would be Dragon at *minimum* because he could easily wipe out the entire (non-super) human race.

I hate the fight between Garo and Death gattlings crew; its just the fact that he is clearly supposed to keep getting weaker as Genos and then Bang shows up. Like he was tired, poisoned etc... And hes still able to not die for so long against all these people one after the other. There comes a point where strength stops being cool and just becomes rediculous Imo (I know saitama is in that area but its okay because thats his gimmick) I just dont like Garo because of that frankly, its like he has uber plot armor
