This is right up there definitely in the top 3 for me possible no1 . Im going to rank them and compare notes , really cant wait to see what you think . Dont want to go into any details of future episodes but im looking forward to watching along . These last 2 episodes really are a sweet spot in terms of writing for Fords and Greg love season 5 and 6 . Next sunday seems a long way off 😂
Well spotted with the actor from "Tooth and Claw", but you missed the other person who was also in that episode. The host of the party, who played one of the male servants killed by the wolf.

Considering the guy got shot up the bottom he soon made a full recovery, some say hardnuts was unrelatable but i say high fly was unbelievable. Also kevin here's a point too ponder a blue wave of fans claim anything after series 5 the quality diminishes you certainly rate these last two episodes as being right up there with the best.where does that leave your judgement. I say phish there all subjectively good but some better than others depending which way the wind blows that day..no point getting knickers in a twist.
Obviously with a sitcom there's some creative license employed but a proper waxed Barbour jacked like he was wearing I've actually seen tested against bird shot and believe it or not it did actually stop any damage . It would sting like a basta#d but "probably" wouldn't do much damage .
The comeback seasons obviously get harsh reviews because of the years off things changed massively. I'm sure Kevin would agree that the comeback of Red Dwarf was exactly the same , so much changed . Without giving Kevin any spoilers I wouldn't say they are bad but definitely none are in my top 30 favourite episodes . It's a difficult point to judge them at as these last 2 episodes were absolute belters !
@JamieVauxnut1 I liked red dwarf back in the day,I watched first episode of father ted 1995 I just didn't get it I was about to give it up but I was totally head turned &glad I gave the 2nd episode ago I'm hooked never looked back.same applies too bottom I thought to ott till the penny dropped also thin blue line,inspector grimm what a hoot.my mate said one he went off only fools & horses after del&Rodney got girlfriends. I went off only fools when they were clapped in the pub after after becoming millionaires cringe.true story 30years ago two of my mates bought two tickets to see Eddie izzard live in York after 5 minutes they upped &walked too the pub next door till the end then got the coach back to Harrogate he just wasn't funny @all.apparantly.
@@andywrong3247I'm a massive fan of Still game, Red Dwarf ,Father Ted and only fools ( fell away from fools in recent years dont think its aging particularly well ) they are some of the best . Fools suffered some stick in later seasons also after the comeback, nostalgia is a he'll of a thing for some people and can't handle any change . I love the other scottish stuff , limmy , chewin the fat but particularly Burnistoun. Iain and Robert are absolutely brilliant together, I saw them live doing "uncles" just after lockdown and I can honestly say I've never laughed so hard at anything before , best live act I've seen by far . Eddie Izzard... I can totally understand walking out of his show but he has gone off in recent years I suppose he's quite a marmite comic
Here’s an idea re ranking the episodes… Consider this approach: re-watch them with us from the beginning in batches of three (i.e., three consecutive episodes in one sitting). While revisiting each episode, assign a rating out of ten as compared to the other two in each batch of three. Then, at the end of each series, rate the ratings within each batch as compared to the other batches. Then you’ll have a very useful pile of ratings to compare episodes (and thus individual episodes) between series. This method not only helps refresh your memory but also makes it more convenient to compare and assign rankings.
