After this feel the burn was used often and still heard today in reference to this episode.
To me this was another example of what you like about looking out for one another, they all try help Bobby with his chat up line and at the end say he’s oor wanker.
No one I know call them jalapeños, the reason Jack says so is because of his age and not used to pizza. Not because that’s how Scot’s pronounce it 😂
I haven’t heard any Scottish person say jalaponos

Met Jim Watt several times throughout my life, first time was in 2nd year at school, he visited the school to do a talk on boxing, next time a couple months later his car broke down and i helped him to get water for the thingie/radiator i think it was...we were on first name terms after that...then a few years later he opened a computer accessory shop near my neighbourhood..

I don't mind pineapple on pizza in a nostalgic way, I was brought up on cheap hawaiian pizza from Farmfoods. And I do like a bit of Pineappleade with Gin in the Summer🍹

I genuinely thought you were going to down it in one to REALLY stick it to the haters, Kevin! Good on you, though - I wouldn't drink it, personally...I'm more of a Dandelion and Burdock fan, myself! Also, I wouldn't have pineapple on a pizza but, to me, it has as much right to top a pizza as anything else. I'm a pepperoni fan, incidentally!

I liked Pineapple-aid when I was a kid. Don’t drink it these days; never found a sugar free one. And pineapple on pizza is fine; not my fav, but decent 🙂

The pronunciation of “Jalapeños” that you’re complaining about is *not* ‘standard’ Scottish pronunciation, so don’t tar us all with that brush. The “Jalapeños” you’re hearing (and rightly, dislike) is due plain and simply to… illiteracy 🤷🏻♂

I know people who jokingly say it, referring to Still Game. Same with "paroka". But, aye, nobody actually says it like that seriously.
