The holes on the sides are for the golf cart straps so they dont damaged the outside layer with friction from driving through bumps
Also, so you have free access to the zippered pockets which would be hindered by the strap wrapped around the outside of the bag.
Funny. In Korea everyone uses the rain cover at all times and doesn't take it off. They close up the top when transporting clubs in the car, etc. But Koreans also use iron protectors so they are into protection I guess.
I use a vessel player 3 stand bag and I like it a lot.
You should use your embroidery machine on this!
Ha, I didn't know that. I guess they like keeping the clubs pristine. I'm not sure why you'd have it on other than rain, but, hey, why not use it?
@@petervonpanda lol it's used as a bag top cover since at Korean country clubs you just drop off your clubs at the front and then park your car. The caddies load up your bag for you onto a cart. Caddies also remove your iron covers and put them into the rain cover for storage until after your round at which point they will put your iron covers back on and then close up your bag with the rain cover.

Thanks! It's even nicer than I thought. I didn't even mention the base and swivels to different ground contours for a stable plant every time.
I did the full bag deal and considered this bag, but ended up going for the hybrid stand bag upgrade.

gorgeous bag. I thought that you were going to game the Ogio camo? I like the PXG one better than the Ogio.
I was torn, Chris! Ultimately the Ogio was also a bit larger. I like the small size as it's easy to get in the car and out of the trunk. Plus, the blue really pops in person!
That bag is awesome Man I got to set up pxg irons in December now I'm going to try to save up and get the bag. Awesome choice
That's the one downside, Kevin. PXG seems to be making more affordable clubs, but they haven't brought down the price on bags yet.

If you can get the Hybrid stand bag. it's about $50 more but totally worth it. More pockets, leather, comes with a lock for personal items, has place just for your putter.
So, how much does a carry bag like that cost???
This one is $500, Michael. Not cheap unfortunately.
Right now the PXG website has them for $199.
