Is it ok if tortoises eat the moss?? I have a 7 month old sulcata and he loves to bite everything he is curious about. I always have food in his bowl but when ever he sees green moos he tried to bite
It’s okay for a tiny tiny bit, but you can fix that. What you can do is mix it into the soil and it every day still mist it. One thing about every tortoise is that they will eat everything that is green from day one, when there hatched.

JN sulcatas are very big tortoises! And are so cute. You might want to get one of them!
Do you have enough room to Let Them Stay inside? If you don't i Will not recommend sulcatas because they need a temp of at least 22 degrees Celsius.
Depend where in Germany cause it gets COLD so honestly a sulcata wouldn't work unless you have a huge house

I have cypress mulch for my hatchling red foot... is that a good idea? I have a mercury vapor bulb but was told to get rid of it and use a heating pad and bring the tortoisw outside a couple times a week for its UVB.....? I I've been reading a lot of diff. I do so it's hard to know what is correct. It's only a month old!

I have two Sulcata Tortoise Indoor, what would be the best bedding for them? Right now I have all of the necessary thing. But looking for the best bedding for them. ps Height wise I would say about the length of a soda can I couldn't find a measuring tape? I used to use something that looked like food pellet, but it got messy too quick and now I'm trying wood shaving But they keep on trying to eat them and I don't want them to choke on them. If you're in FL, all you have to do is go to the tree outside your house and get Spanish moss. Buying Spanish moss really?? LOL .
wasn't sure where to ask my question but i hve a bearded dragon that past few days has been sitting relaxing nothing out of the ordinary until today i notice he had what i thought was a scale out of place or shedding on his / her eye not sure if boy or girl ..... i was sitting outside with him getting sun and realized he wasn't opening his eys much or at all so looking closer i realize that scale seemed like mucus maybe ? i thought maybe his eyes some how was being held shut by something .... i don't know i am just guessing here ..... i ran some luck warn water over him to help dissolve anything help him open his eyes if needed he opened one but the other seemed to stay closed????a little more water and it came open .... but he sits with eyes closed now after his little shower he drank some water too .... everything else seems to be ok i haven't had a chance cause of shut down and i am vulnerable to get him his verity of bugs but i been feeding him meal worms everyday i ordered online like 500 of them they are way smaller then the usual ones but that is the only new thing in his routine i feed him Kale Carrots and collard greens some times apples and those flat cactus plants .... anyway if you see this ..... have you heard of or know of what it might be am i doing something wrong i've had reptiles before savanah monitor , Bearded dragons an iguana but i don't recall this issue it's the first time for Bearded Jack is his name i guess if it is a girl it be Bearded Jacklin hahaha ..... anyway this is first time maybe it's nothing but i want to make sure i'm doing the right things ..... hope all is great with you and your family ( includes the kids in the Kamp ) maybe it's nothing but you know retiles what seems like nothing can end up being something of concern .... anyway if you see this and can answer great if not i understand

I thought you were not supposed to mix different breeds, they could give each other diseases? Plus, doesn't each tortoise have specific needs, in regards to heat and humidity etc

I had to put extra screws in my zoo-med tortoise house because it was so flimsy and was almost falling apart after about two months, I left it outside for an entire year and it just rotted to the point it was falling apart. The doors that drop down over the hide area, the thin wood started to peel up. I would say these are probably good like he's using them to roll in and out but I wouldn't use one of these in direct weather year round and expect it to hold up. Just an FYI

I’m sure the product would not be launched from the company if there was any chance that the product would harm any animal in any way.
The product is kiln dried after it’s dyed so the dye will not bleed unless it’s soaked in alcohol.
Where do you sell me that whole setup with all of the tortoise that are in there? Please let me know if I could call you I will do do so and give you a credit card number right now are in a cashier's check whatever you want
