Fantastic uploads - I followed England as a kid in the late 80's with all the attendant bittersweet memories, so this is a real treat! So glad I came across your channel. Keep up the great work!
Sincere thanks for what I think are uploads of the whole package of original 1989 Ashes highlights shows as were on the BBC 'back in the day'... I was 14 at the time and remember England's trials and tribulations that summer to this day... Now aged 46 I find seeing all this once more a real treat... Well done on this great archive...
This was also one of my first series watching as a 14 year old. Think there was some optimism after the one dayers and 1985 and 1986/7 wins. But we got absolutely mullered. The fifth test was the real low point
It must be the first time in test history that a military medium paced bowler completely destroyed England over six tests. Totally under rated his performance that year.

Another Brilliant Upload
Kim Brnett😆
Lovely stuff from Jack Russell
Alderman terrorised them.
No wonder Steve Waugh looked aggrieved! He had Robin Smith plumb LBW (17.48) but Nigel Plews didn't give it.
Aussies meant business.
Why did they drop Greg Campbell?
I'm no fly on the wall but I assume he would be a different option. What a great asset he was too.
