Going into the 06/07 series I still remember feeling a sense of dread simply because that 2005 side was never the same again and the team broke apart quickly. Simon Jones would never play for England again, Trescothick retired before the ashes, Vaughan was pretty much injured for two years, Harmison was never the same bowler, Flintoff was broken, Geraint Jones was out of his depth and dropped. loved it....that Austrailian side was absolute nightmare for other teams...used to hate them a lot when we(India) play against them...now when all of them are retired, I love watching their highlights, how they used to dominate their opponents, how each one of them were absolute legends.
I love Ricky Ponting the most, he was so stylish while batting and a tough nut to crack. I mean, come on who fields at silly point without a helmet on, who marks centre after being hit by a ball travelling at over 140kmph, he was so fearless and a great cricketing mind.
Ashes 2005 is my favorite test series after Border-Gavaskar 2020 series.
Love for Austrailian cricket team from an Indian❤
Such a great channel - look forward to you making a new one about the WC23 campaign!
Awesome Video. And what a Legendary team that was 🦘
Great content mate ❤❤
Loved your narration and way of story telling ❤
This was great. Thank you
The most memorable ashes ever. Relived it a dozen times in the EA sports cricket game when i was a kid
Brilliant video and loved it. Keep it up mate , you do a great job buddy
We were a mess before the series and even more afterwards and the 2007 World Cup made things worse.
Loved the vid lad🤍,keep em coming
Top to bottom LEGENDS! Agree. Here from Sri Lanka.
Good video mate
Great narration on top of great research. Good job mate
Fantastic video mate! Top quality and extremely well said
Great video mate! Brings back some awesome memories 😊
SIMMO, AND WARNIE, RIP 🪦🪦 LEGENDS ❤️
I did the grass signs for the test cricket on, Adelaide Oval , and i would arrive around 6.30 am , to recoat before the days play.
The peeps , would be lining up then ,and that showed the importance of these 2 cricket sides , going head to head.
To hear that roar ,from the back of the stands, when a wicket fell, is a sound i will never forget.
I was lucky and got to watch the best.
What an experience! Glad I could help you remember a memorable time in your life, thanks for sharing :)
Great video mate, really enjoyed it
Bloody emotional seeing Warnie 😢
Warne jumping into Roy's arms brings tears to my eyes.
I watched every game of that ashes as a 12 year old, Shane Warne with the ball was the killing it and even with the bat he played some big innings and almost made a century from memory
What you think about 2023 ashes
@@GREAT-INDIAN-TRAVELLER the last couple ashes series in England have been dope , these first two tests have been so good too watch and I like the tension. I don’t like it when the teams are friendly
Loved this. Thank you.
Was an absolute demolition. There were times when England played well and were in games but we had a brilliant team full of once in a generation players. Your channel is awesome btw dude 🙏
Was 8 in 2005. Warne literally scared me. I remember being terrified every time he would wind up to bowl.
Nice commentary overall. Subscribed.
The team also included the 2nd most successful Test opening pair : JL and Haydos
Great content, keep up the good work!!
They lost the 2005 Ashes by the barest of margins and yet the media bashed them, which shows the weight of expectations on the Aussie players at that time.
