- A video about rebuilding a Kawasaki KLR 650 engine. Full tear down and complete rebuild. Engine from a 1989 KLR 650 Tengai
I wasn't going to attempt an engine rebuild on my 1996 KLR650 until I stumbled upon your channel. I think I'll have a go now - thanks for taking the time to make the videos. It's much appreciated.
Glad to help - Hopefully when I get the parts, some of which ( con rod kit ) are in Japan, I will get more videos posted!
THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO FILM ALL THAT.
Filmed, partly so I can remember how to put it all back together again! But its the Kawasaki official manual and the Clymer manual that are the real use, particularly the exploded parts diagrams - they are the road map so to speak.. Thank you and Regards
Thank you. Appreciate your time. Cant wait for the next video. Will be waiting patiently. Be well!
Thanks for watching!
Can you tell me if the water pump shaft just comes out because mine is not.
Great video series! Those are JIS head screws on the oil pump?
Its difficult to say - neither the Official Kawasaki WS manual or the Clymer mentions JIS. None of my bits are JIS, I would imagine tho that they are JIS as the bikes a Japanese manufacture - probably worth checking with your country dealer. Most important tho is to get a bit thats tight.. thats the most important part of the battle!
Klx 650 C please.
Перфекто. Маестро.
You skipped over the water pump shaft
