You are welcome and thank you for your comment and question. The positives and negatives with regard to bond calculations merely indicate the direction the money is flowing. So if you entered the original numbers as positive, that would indicate a cash flow to you. Negative would be a cash flow you are paying out. It is ok if you get them backward, just as long as you understand which direction the cash is flowing. I hope that helps.

One comment I would at the end of this video for the negative sign for someone who is not familiar. Why negative sign? Since we are buying a bond, a negative value indicates that this is a outflow cashflow. Hence a negative result.

so bassacily you will make 250$ off the bond in 20y but you will make 1000$ from the 50$ paymentsx20y. for a total of 1250$....however because it is a loan to the gov it will show up as you recieving 2000$ and you current payout today will be 750$...thats all i needed to hear

I believe the RST error indicates a low battery.
