changed the spark plugs at 32k km, and now, at 37k km, I regret not doing the valve check sa well. If you do one, do the other as well. Best explanation video so far... "back in the garage" skips important steps
other question. my cylinder head is leaking, needs probably a new joint. would you know if this needs to get down the motor comletely or can one reach from above through the frame? thanks
Is it possible that there is not clearance at all on the intakes valves for both cylinders? I used .038 mm and can't get it in. The exhaust clearance are with specification. Thanks.

Thanks mate, means a lot. Yes do it all while beast is opened 👍 good luck.
Excellent vid!
My 1090 is due for the 1st 30k.
For removing plugs if you don’t have a magnet use your plug HT leads. They will grab on to the plug
Good tip. Thank you
To easily remove the plug and reinstall it use 8 mm fuel line about a foot long and just push it over the plug
Really useful video with spoken instructions. I feel confident to have a go at it myself. many thanks
Great video, thank you
Very helpful. I am doing it right at this moment. Thanks.
Thanks Me :)
Super video. Merci beaucoup! rare de voir un tuto aussi clair, bien filmé bien monté bien expliqué. Merci
Merci Lionel. J'espere que cela t'as aide .
Nice Video, fast but complete for all! Thank you
Thank you very much!
Very nice video! Well spoken commentary thank you for this.
Thank you Mr Winston!
Thank You!!!
Great video I thought it was a lot harder to get to the valves than that will give it a go myself now
themanfish the hardest part is to put shims in, which thankfully I didn't have to do. Thanks for watching.
Great vid! Do you have to take apart any more bike to insert the shims if the clearances are off?
Ryan Cresanto you do, not 100% sure of the procedure. I was glad clearances were good.
Is the inlet 0.10/0.15 exhaust 025/0.30 in mm?
If so that’s a big gap between valve snd camshaft??supposed shim dosent jump out
Damn.. This bike is a pain in the ass to do service on.. but fun af to drive :)
Brother well done 👍 haw often we have to do it??
Pebble Pusher first at 30000kms then I would do it every 15000 to-be sure
other question. my cylinder head is leaking, needs probably a new joint. would you know if this needs to get down the motor comletely or can one reach from above through the frame? thanks
I'd say you could access it thru the frame but it's very tight, give it a go, what's the worst that can happen :) Good luck

Not sure to be honest, I'm not a mechanic. Just make sure you turn the engine to the correct endearment point.
Nice video dude. How long will this take me from start to finish?
I'd say a couple of hours if all goes well. The rear cylinder is very tricky to reach, if you lift the sub frame you get better access. Good luck.
Really helpful video...what size hex are the plugs? 14mm or 16mm?
Ronan Rogers it's a 14mm.
It’s not 0.10/0.15 (it’s .0010/15 and exhaust
