Sorry for the long comment, i just love this tier ranking video and wanted to share my thoughts:
- I love where you put Lord ledger cuz I feel the same. his pros are that he was an amazing and active father, especially for that time period, he tends to be very supportive of violet. However, when I think about how his wife is racist and its his DAUGHTER that fights back the nasty things her mother says I'm like "sir...why don't you speak up, your daughter is doing more than you to correct racism". I also don't like how he took Agatha's mourning period as an opportunity, maybe at first it was friendly but it just seems opportunistic to me given how he already liked her/was intrigued by her. He definitely wasn't awful, i actually liked him as a character, but when i think about it, he was more of a neutral.
- I would separate old and young charlotte into diff rankings. Young charlotte in top tier and older charlotte in meh, i feel nothing (i do in fact feel something though). Young charlotte is amazing, her love for George, the way she listens to lady danbury's advise, additionally even the way she understood George's mom when they were discussing speaking for the parliament. Young charlotte is incredibly witty, intelligent, and although she may be hard headed sometimes, she acts when she recognizes that what people are saying to her is the truth. She also doesn't get irate but instead is firm and understanding when she finds out Danbury was trying to secure her title through Agusta and not her. Older charlotte is extremely complex which makes me feel bad for putting her in "meh". She's so caught up in George and other people's romances that she doesn't even know that several of her kids have had miscarriages??? Like that was wild, she also never asked Brimsley if he had a family?? She lives for George and loves that man, but the way she interacts with her kids is insane. Like when she hugged her son and he was so shocked...that was wild to me. She's incredibly complex and i love that, but i don't exactly think she's doing amazing, but i also don't want to call her garbage, so she's more neutral to me.

Exactly how I'd rank them, except for Lord Ledger. I'd put him one spot higher - because he's the reason someone like Vivian had someone like Violet as a daughter. He is very supportive of his daughter, always making her feel seen and appreciated, when her mother clearly was focused only on herself. He encouraged Violet to read and learn, which was unusual for this time. Don't know if Violet had brothers, but if not, he's also not the kind of father who want only sons. Also I'm sure he was supportive when Violet wanted to marry Edmund because she plainly loved him - we probably will see that if Violet will get her own spin-off, which is very likely.
I absolutely agree with your list, although I would put Augusta at the very bottom, because I HATE HER not only because she is kind of a Karen, but mainly because she is racist. So yeah.
Also, I love Brimsley and Reynolds ( ‘s relationship ) as characters so much, I would literally m!rder someone, do anything and die for them. I cried at least three times during that last episode. I love them, I can’t stand them being sad, and I want MORE OF THEIR STORY, like I reallyyy dooo, fr.
So yeah, both of them at the top ( Reynolds is alive and well btw, I do not take any other suggestions, thank you ).
Also, girl, I love your hair, makeup and outfit, your whole look is EATING, GIVING, and DEVOURING! Slay on!
Barely started watching, as of when I'm watching you're just explaing the tiers, qnd part of me would cry if I was in the meh category, I would rather be almost garbage or die in a hole because then I left an impact 😭
