- With the completion of Bridgerton season 3 [parts 1 and 2], I decided that it's about time to do the most comprehensive and detailed Bridgerton Tier Ranking that absolutely NOBODY asked for. Lol. This covers Bridgerton seasons 1 through 3, inclusive of Queen Charlotte, and looks at all the named characters with a speaking line. From Anthony Bridgerton, all the way to Rae the maid. If you're confused about who that is, that's Penelope Featherington's maid by the way.

I adore Kathani Sharma Bridgerton!!! Season 2 felt like a spotlight for those of us who have sacrificed for our families and loved ones so they could thrive. She’s witty, meticulous, loyal, genuine and courageous. She had her faults but she definitely didn’t deserve the dismissal she got especially with the “half sister” line. I still feel like there are unsaid truths with the Sharmas that Kate never vocalized. She bent over backwards for nearly a decade with not even so much as a thank you.
Kathani Sharma Bridgerton is a GODDESS amongst us all and I love her so much 😭😭😭. I too am so miffed that she never got the chance to point out how unfair her family was being to her 😪😪. Like I understand why Edwina was upset but Kate should also have gotten her chance to speak her mind
That is so true and too many viewers did not appreciate her either. She has been totally misunderstood by some people - probably because they did not watch the show properly.

That's what I love about Bridgerton. All the characters are so complex. Like I can see everyone's side.
I want to watch the travelling Finchs' cheese tasting show. And your point about Harry and Prudence actually makes so much sense, remember when he was jumping up to eat grapes out of her hands in the background of one scene. 😅
Also, about Lady Cowper. Jessica Madsen who plays Cressida, said in an interview that they actually shot an alternative ending where Lady Cowper joined Cressida in that carriage and they left together! But they didn't end up choosing that ending in the edit because Shonda and the showrunner didn't want to "end" Cressida's story yet. I would've loved to see Lady Cowper choose her daughter over that horrible man, but alas.
Right??? And imagine if they had like a giant 3D cheese sign on top of their van. Living life and having a blast! I will be glued to their channel! I’ll never stop watching their show; showing up each week to see what new state and cheese they’re about to show us 🥹😭.

I would have made her leave the show,! She was supposed to be a loving mother so why did she not see the distress on Kate's face when Anthony proposed.. She should have realised something was wrong with the sisters and stopped that fiasco of a wedding. "You have kept so much from me" , she said, she should have noticed. Then to order Kate to leave the room without hearing her side of the story was disgraceful. I have no time for Mary.
I do have some empathy for daphne in a way. She is the first, oldest daughter and that is annoying :
A lot of pressure to have a good match that will influence all her siblings futurs, having anthony season one's annoying ass on her back and her mother interferences even if it came from a good place, being watch by the entire ton which is waiting for her to fail, Eloise who is a closest in age sister ignores and ridicules the pression she has on her shoulders and diminishes her efforts .
She was sooo annoying but girl had a lot going on too so i understood her too. I think they should've done like with anthony and show, in flashback for examples, how this pressure made her like this because we had maybe one or two lines about it ?
Oh definitely. I think if they had given us enough of her backstory and fleshed her out properly in her season (she is the eldest daughter after all) I definitely would have found her less annoying 😭😭

I agreed with you that they made her so wrapped up in her own drama/thoughts and seriously a bad listener and friend! She was my favorite character and I'm still holding out they write her not quite so self-absorbed in the future!

@@ChroniclesofNoria I mean you ranked the SIDEBURNS. Oh and to your other question, I haven't seen queen Charlotte other than a couple scenes when my mum was watching. Personally it didn't spoil it a lot because 1) I have a terrible time remembering names 2) I watched this in three sittings because dang it girl if you were gonna commit to doing it, we can put in the time (plus, i confess, I watch everything on accelerated speed)
as a side note because I'm horrible at commenting --thank you for all your hard work on the F***-a-thon recs... completed one out of two challenges so far. ;) (Zionism) Gotta pick out selections for other two.

Noria, I luv your musings, however I say in Season 1 Daphne was an MVP. She was trying to save her marriage, help her husband through his childhood trauma, and all the while help her brother come to terms with Marina. She helped Marina with George. Marina even said without her help Sir Philip would not have known where to find her. I love this character because she had the innate ability to draw parallels with other people's problems and her own. That shows maturity and empathy. She could have easily been self absorbed, but she wasn't.
You know what? Yes. You are definitely right. She did pull through in the first season. I guess I never got over her bangs and the assault scene of Simon. Like I was rooting for her throughout the show, then we got to that scene and I just had my love for her character plummet 😔😔

33:07 Honestly, I think we just need to accept the fact that the leads from previous seasons aren't going to be sticking around. At least not to do much more than a fanservice cameo. No agent worth their salt is going to be happy with their client getting demoted from top billing as a lead to a side character. Not if there are bigger and better projects wanting to book them.
Yeah. But like a cameo feature. They only need to show up for a day, film a scene and make some money to buy a new purse or something. I wish we had that 😖😖

About Franchaela: they have the advantage that Michaela is a relative of John and that they are women. Guy friends being close to each other is more easily seen as gay than two women being close. They will just go down into history as two gals being pals™ .
