Normally I hate storylines where the guy pushes the girl away to “protect her” or love at first sight, but this show is my exception. The chemistry between George and Charlotte was so strong that you fully believe these 2 are soulmates right from the start. And you understand why George thinks he’s doing the right thing and protecting Charlotte by pushing her away. I have still not recovered from the scene where they admit they love each other or the scene at the end under the bed 😭 Shonda really snapped when writing this.
I love that they showed Charlotte looking at Brimsley when he left at 18:18 because even though she sent him to fetch her dressers, it showed that she still felt sad for him in that moment because she never even considered him having love in his life with him always being five paces behind her. It was a very well acted scene because she clearly was both moved by and uncomfortable with Brimsley nearly coming to tears.
Ugh! Yes, this scene choked me up too and it really showed that she not only showed affection for George but also Brimsley. The man who is with her ALL THE TIME! 😫
That under the bed scene had all of us in the feels 😭😭 This was by far the best installment in the Bridgerverse for me ❤ Congrats on your new dog btw 😊
I'm almost positive that that non conversation between Violet and Agatha was NOT the last time we'll be approaching this topic. I feel like this is going to continue into season 3 of Bridgerton.
I think the way Charlotte "checked" Agatha was her way of showing her that she gets it now. She is the Queen and Lady Danbury doesn’t have to worry about her being the same little girl that she had to explain everything to. I loved that moment. Obviously loved that she eased her title concerns by addressing her as Lady Danbury but that undertone of growth really hit me. She was showing her gratitude and appreciation ❤ Loved this show and loved your reaction! New subscriber! 😊
Hi Cheekie!!!! I couldn’t agree more. We REALLY saw Charlotte flourish as a woman, friend, wife & queen by the last two episodes. It was a joy to watch! Thank you for supporting the channel. 🫶🏽
Charlotte and George's children were brats. They had decades to make some legitimate heirs. Those boys managed to make 50 babies! But they couldn't marry someone and make one or two in a marriage? No sympathy for them. When she put her foot down, they ended up with Queen Victoria - the one the Victorian era is named for. Charlotte did what had to be done and their bloodline is still on the throne with Charles III. If you binged QC the weekend of Charles III's coronation, the story hits even harder.

It made her hard exterior more understandable.
Great reaction Joi! I detect a little Princess Augusta bias. She protected her son by gaining/holding power. She obtained power in a male world where she had none. She had no insights into mental illness. Expecting 21st century sensibilities in the 1700's is unfeasible. @@JoiLouiseReacts she had that taste of freedom. I bet she might have thought about it if (a.) she had not had that affair with lord ledger and (b.) she had more time to get past both. Agatha just had too much in her plate for that. Tbh, whatever Adolph is said, he wasn’t going to treat her kids like he would his own. His own kids would be princes and princesses. She would have been just as stuck as George’s mom. When the dowager princess said you must maintain control, I bet Agatha took that seriously.
@@littlehouseinthebigapple5716 Yes, yes, yes!!! Way too much on her plate. He proposed too soon and was hitting her with too much, too fast! She also must have seen how Charlotte was stressed at being Queen and said “No, I’m good. Get somebody else to do it” 🤣🤣🤣
I think Buckingham house might be where Georges grandfather abused him and Augusta (as she described to Agatha), which is why he preferred Kew. That also turned Augusta into the hard exterior we see. Love the way she pushed Agatha through that moment. This series had me emotionally drained and so happy at the same time, lol. Need more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes!!!!! She was a feminist before her time! Augusta had me disliking and liking her in one episode sometimes! But also, she understood that tears were a luxury Agatha couldn’t afford in her situation. That hit home for me. Agatha was at war, not only for her livelihood but for everyone that was recently titled. It was truly a MOMENT! 😮💨
George actually bought buckingham in 1761 which is the same year him and his wife married so I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it would be St James palace with his grandfather
You definitely forget the pain once it’s over in the sense of there’s no way your mind can recreate that most painful feeling ever until it happens again 😅
What a beautiful process! I hear this time and time again. Truly astounding to comprehend. Especially when I see women document their pain, but be so very willing to have more than two pregnancies.
As far as pain in childbirth, for ME, I do remember what it felt like (I had no meds with my oldest but my last 2 I did for different reasons) but I don't think about it. Once I saw those faces I didn't care! 💗💗
Princess Augusta picked Charlotte and Agatha because she thought she would be able to control them. She let the smooth taste fool her. Violet is not Agatha's best friend. Charlotte is her best friend. They were looking at sex diagrams over 50 years ago. Violet just got to the point where she can talk about her garden and she is 16 years younger than Agatha.
Yes, she definitely let the smooth taste fool her! 🤣🤣🤣 16 years younger! Mmmm…I also heard that Agatha felt close to Lord Ledger by being around Violet after his death. Is this right? 😢
@@JoiLouiseReactsIf we look at the first two seasons, Agatha and Violet weren't really close. They just got past the polite masks in this show and started having grown lady talk. Violet can't make Agatha say anything. In terms of power, Agatha is still the senior. Violet even backed down when she thought Agatha was going to tell her point blank. So they just shared that look. They both know. Nothing needs to be said. It's really not even Violet's business in my opinion. Your dad's sex life is not your business.
I'm with you on Violet Not being Agatha's best friend, but they are in fact friends. Violet seemed fascinated with her when she was younger, but that's as far as that went I think until they were adults. They got closer when they conspired to get Simon and Daphne together and I'd say that was then they actually became friends, but yes, Charlotte and Agatha are in fact the best friends between the three. Dare I say that Charlotte has a lot of Agatha's influence in how she moves just as Agatha seems to have a certain levity sometimes that might have rubbed off from Charlotte.
Lady Danbury was married at seventeen also. If that was the case then she would have been at least five years older than Queen Charlotte. There's no Danbury was 16 years older then Violet.
Love this show and for some clarification, when her soon said she was not a good mother, did he not note all she hade on her plate? Taking care of George during his episodes and making sure his crown was safe. And while she was doing all this she was with child almost every year. I have posted their children and when they were born below. And she started all this at only 17! Back in those times the royals really weren't that hands on with their children, Lady Danbury said her husband saw his kids twice a month? Love that she can still bring her George back sometimes by coming down to his level of comfort. It is so said that she passed away a year before him as I imagine him going under the bed at times waiting for his Charlotte not knowing she had passed away. "You didn't go over the wall, no George I didn't go over the wall" That line broke me 😭😭😭😭 Enjoyed taking this emotional journey with you as we got a glimpse of unconditional love ❤❤ George, Prince of Wales (born 1762) Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany (born 1763) Prince William, Duke of Clarence (born 1765) Charlotte, Princess Royal (born 1766) Prince Edward, Duke of Kent (born 1766) Princess Augusta Sophia (born 1768) Princess Elizabeth (born 1770) Prince Ernest, Duke of Cumberland (born 1771) Prince Augustus Frederick, Duke of Sussex (born 1773) Prince Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge (born 1774) Princess Mary, Duchess of Gloucester (born 1776) Princess Sophia (born 1777) Prince Octavius (born 1779) Prince Alfred (born 1880) Princess Amelia (born 1783)
Thank you so much for all of this detail!!!! Being a mother is hard. But just as no one is perfect there is no perfect mother and we all do the best we can with what we have. It’s hard to be an equal mother to 15 kids and basically rule a country. One role will take precedence over the other. And when your husband’s mental isn’t consistently stable, you aren’t free to just be a supporting role in his life. Sometimes you have to lead. I so feel for Charlotte. When you succeed in one area of your life, another area is sure to suffer. 😢

Prince Edward and his wife Princess Victoria really had a daughter. That daughter later became Queen Victoria. Also, someone has already told you this, but King George and Queen Charlotte had 15 children! 13 of them survived to adulthood. Their youngest daughter died as an young adult. So technically by the time Bridgerton take place, there was only 12 children alive.

Get somebody else to do it” 🤣🤣🤣
I'ma be like Lady Danbury and find some "solitude on the ground" this summer 🥴👀😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 That’s a good one! Look, LIVE, baby!!!!! You only get one life. 🥰
@@JoiLouiseReacts absolutely! And for that, she earned my respect in that moment! 👏🏽
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
George actually bought buckingham in 1761 which is the same year him and his wife married so I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it would be St James palace with his grandfather
You definitely forget the pain once it’s over in the sense of there’s no way your mind can recreate that most painful feeling ever until it happens again 😅
What a beautiful process! I hear this time and time again. Truly astounding to comprehend. Especially when I see women document their pain, but be so very willing to have more than two pregnancies.
That final scene is EVERYTHING. PERIOD❤ loved watching your reactionss!! And you got the puppy♡♡
EVERYTHING! I cry every time I watch it. Beau is a big boy now and the sweetest dog!!! 🥰
As far as pain in childbirth, for ME, I do remember what it felt like (I had no meds with my oldest but my last 2 I did for different reasons) but I don't think about it. Once I saw those faces I didn't care! 💗💗
🥹 This is beautiful!!!! Thank you for sharing your experience and truth! 🫶🏽
You’re so right when you put it like that! 😮💨
"You didn't go over the wall, no George I didn't go over the wall" That line broke me 😭😭😭😭 Enjoyed taking this emotional journey with you as we got a glimpse of unconditional love ❤❤

@@JoiLouiseReacts Absolutely, and coming from a family of 10 children almost 11, one of my brothers had a twin that didn't make it, there is always a kid who doesn't think he or she got enough attention. And yes both my parents worked. How could they not? 10 kids 😂And living in Washington DC wasn't cheap. I'm subscribed and looking forward to your future reactions😊
God bless your parents! It’s hard having one child but leading the charge for almost 11 is a skill one can only aspire to mastering. When you HAVE to work it’s hard to give the hugs they need when they need them or to know when one of them truly needs to just hear your voice. 😮💨
Parents don’t get enough celebration, two days out of the year isn’t enough. My Mom thankfully had my grandma and my aunts to support her with me and my brother because our fathers weren’t present. I know she did the very best she could as a single parent who had to work to provide us with what she never had. 🥹
Thank you for being open to sharing a little about your life, Liseu! 🫶🏽
I love how knowledgeable you lovely viewers are! Thank you for being here and for sharing your insight! 🙏🏽
Watched all your reactions to this series! Loved your reactions!
Thank you so much, Dina! More to come! 🥰
You do forget the pain after child birth. The initial child birth pain hurts so bad.
I can imagine that is doesn’t. But it is so good to know that the temporary pain is worth it. 🫶🏽
I really loved this reaction from you. Leap frogs, 😂. I’m like Lady D and bit of Charlotte. I’ve loved and lost, been loved, like you I love love. Yes it’s true, I have 4 children and after birth the pain dissolves the moment you hear or see your baby. It is the worst pain, we create humans from our bodies then we have to expel them alive into the world. ❤they are worth it,,, my kids are my crowning glory my greatest achievements. I can die happy because they are the most beautiful humans. The ending was cleverness of Shonda she knows how to pull on our heart strings and more. 😢. I 😅wish I could of seen Charlotte holding her babies. Thank you 😊 love from New Zealand.
Hi Candy!!!! Thank you so much for being here my love! The way you speak about your children makes me look forward to having my own, pain and all. Thank you for helping me realize a dream by being able to grow my UA-cam channel thanks for viewers like you not only watching but commenting and conversing with me. I would have loved to have seen her with her children as babies too!! 🥰 yes, I definitely relate to both Agatha and Charlotte, being strong and knowing what you want and don’t want.
Loved your Reaction as always. Hello Beau.

I loved your reaction. It was wonderful and you are a gorgeous lady. ❤
Thank you my dear! 🙏🏽
You were excellent in the review of season 6.
Thank you!
Thank you so much, Celestine! I so appreciate you being here and supporting the channel. 🫶🏽
‘Yo, they make me want to smoke a cigarette?’
I was stressed! All my friends that smoke do so to relieve stress or so they say! 🤣
When you said you beat your face and was only fifteen minutes in... I felt that. I was in full glam, lashes and contoured to the GODS and by the end of the episode my face was a whole ass mess. I felt like that movie Death Becomes Her when their faces melted like candle wax. Yeah. It was baaaaaadd lol
Omg! Death Becomes Her is one of my favorite campy feel good movies!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 That’s a great reference!
You and your background the flickering candle 🕯 *swoon*
Thank you my love!!! It’s definitely a vibe that helps me escape from the world and film these reactions for y’all!
Yes, I did.
OMG BEAU!
He’s the sweetest boy! Hoping to get him sit still enough to make a cameo. 🤭 He’s not as patient as Birkin. 🤣
to the pregnancy comment
its been a year since i gave birth and hormonal wise it does impact your brain and memory (pregnancy brain doesnt leave till after a couple years after birth depending) some cases are more extreme then others of course but my birth wasnt bad and i cannot remember what it felt like lol i just remember it felt like i needed to poop the biggest poop of my life lol when i try to remember it i remember screaming and yelling and being in pain but not what it felt like its like an old scar that you forgot how you got it you know it happened but the details are fuzzy haha
This is a GREAT explanation! I’ve definitely heard the poop comment before too! 🤣 Pregnancy brain, what does it consist of? Is it just mild memory loss?
@@JoiLouiseReacts long term and short term memory loss, mood swings, if you ever get the opportunity to look at the brain and where it’s active during pregnancy it explains a lot haha but it’s different to everyone my memory was impacted very bad I had a list of notes on my phone of things I said to my husband too many times and just couldn’t handle it anymore lol my mom however only would forget certain items like car keys but could plan events and remember small details throughout the day and each pregnancy also impacts your body differently it’s crazy
Wow! I always thought it was an old wives tale. This is so interesting! Thank you for sharing! 🫶🏽
I can't wait to never see Princess Augusta again. The actress did her job superbly though!
She was a worthy opponent, wasn’t she? 🤣
@@JoiLouiseReacts Most definitely. I'm not a parent, but even in her position, I wouldn't have kept Dr. Monro* around.
He's a danger to every living thing. At least Augusta had a heart.
@kory_misun Oh that doctor was a nightmare! He should have been handled VERY differently. 😡
@@JoiLouiseReacts At least in real history John Monro was only consulted and didn't actually hurt King George. He was at Bedlam though, and no one was happy there, obviously!
the way I watched just 2 min into the video and I'm already dying. How you going to get a whole pom pom dog because Charlotte did?? LOL gotta respect it though
😂😂😂 I’ve actually wanted one since I was in high school and had been searching for one on Google in recent months. Walked in and adopted one almost on the spot. Manifestation. 🤣🤣🤣
Dances were learned like ppl learn line dances today...
I would imagine so! We’ve come so far! 🤣 But I’m sure some of us still look like amphibians or insects on the dance floor when we line dance. 😂😂😂
It was her granddaughter.
MVP viewer here! :)
Yes you are! Thank you so much for being here. It really warms my heart! 🥰🥰🥰
@@JoiLouiseReacts I enjoyed every episode!
Thank you, my dear! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
No, I think she was the 4th oldest.
Wish we had a spreadsheet! 🤣🤣🤣
I would think that you would forget the pain of childbirth after it's over because how else would you explain siblings? lmao no way I'm going through that pain multiple times if I remember how horrific the birth was. Maybe it's different for everyone.
P.S. Sorry for the multi comments, but I write them as I watch the review lol my bad
Yes, the sibling point is so true! 🤣 And no worries on the comments, I text the same way! 🙈
I remember every agonizing minute.😐
😫 I’m so sorry love! We really do go through such trauma to bare a child. 😢
All births were singles
Wow, wow, wow!!! Imagine being pregnant and giving birth naturally 15 times. 😫
