    One of the best Sand Boa guys was the former President of the San Diego Reptile Keepers. He sadly passed away a few years ago.

      That is a shame. Glad that he was around and able to advance the species for a long time though

    Sand Boas greatest downfall us their tendency to hide under the sand all the time.

      Yeah they are stealthy but then again ball pythons will sit in their hide 7 days a week if you let them also

    Just like fish, if it's isn't expensive, nobody cares. We need to learn to value more than just current rarity or monetary value. The fish hobby makes the same mistakes.

      Agree 100%. Sometimes the normal wild type in many species is the most beautiful but they get overlooked.
