❤I love the Patoki stand! It always gets such fabulous reviews. I can see one in my future purchases. I loved your Makers’ Moment. I am a self taught cross stitcher at the age of 14. I believe it came from watching my grandmother hand quilt and my mom hand quilt, crochet, and craft. I then taught my mother to cross stitch. It was a blessing in disguise because my mom passed away at age 48 and I was 28 so we had 14 years or so that we had the love of cross stitching to share before she passed away. That time holds great memories for me to treasure. She made my ring bearer’s pillow for my wedding along with a wedding sampler for me. I love the Shepard’s Bush bag. Happy stitching, ladies!
The Colorado Cross-stitcher made the challenge to teach someone to Cross-stitch. I was blessed to welcome my good friend from work into it and now she is hooked!!
I loved the flowers shown in the beginning. So beautiful. It is a small world. I was supposed to move to Fort Campbell in 1986. My husband was a member of A Company in the 3rd of the 502nd. He was one of the soldiers lost in the plane crash December 12, 1985. I want to get there sometime soon to see the memorial there on base. I hope you have a wonderful visit with your family
Absolutely!!! The healing qualities of crafting has been MONUMENTAL in my journey with Metastatic Breast Cancer. From finding flosstubes to watch when I couldn’t think clearly because of chemo to taking on BIGGER projects in the last year and NOW I’m going to enter a sampler in the Texas State Fair!!!! When I was ask what do YOU want to do my answer has been I plan on being a Professional Crafter lol!! Love your show and you bring such joy to my days ….. I’m thinking I’m going to start with small retreats here in DFW and build a community one little step at a time ❤️❤️❤️

Falk is my favorite season. I just started back stitching after 30 years. Now reside in assisted living facility and it is a great way to pass time. I really liked #7. Love your flosstube.
I have humming birds at my feeder and I treasure them. Best entertainment is watching creation ❤. My grandma taught me to embroidery and it's expanded from there. Grandma taught me the love of stitching

Hi again ladies - just went back and watched your video again and Shellie, I wanted to mention I LOVE the paper piecing quilt you have in progress! I am also in that process - I am using the small 1" hexie templates - have several mini charm packs I had gotten awhile back - sewed 7 together as my block to make a flower type look, but have lots more to do down the road and decide how to put them together! A bit confused on how to sew them to a backing, but there's alot of, and thank gosh, for youtube, videos on how many different ways there are to do that process! I will be anxious to see your final product - it will be beautiful I am sure! I used to watch my Mom when I was a kid hand sew the pieces, but she did NOT have a template - don't know how she did it, but she did! :-) Thanks again for sharing !

Thank you for the wonderful Floss Tube video. I love watching the two of you. My grandmother did embroidery and string crochet during my younger years and I wish I could have had the opportunity to learn from her . I also have a sister who is just a wonder at many crafts, she sews, she quilts, she cross stitches, she embroiders, I could go on and on, she's such a treasure to me. I wish I lived closer to her so that I could learn more from her. Unfortunately, she is about a ten and 1/2 hour drive from me so I would surely have to pack more then one bag for a nice visit. I hope you both have a great time during these next two weeks. I will wait patiently for your next video.

We have traveled to family reunions in southern Indiana for 70 plus years❤. It use to be every 5 years, but we have changed it to every year in 2020. So many lovely WIPs. I like a good treasure bag😊

Nobody that I know stitches I picked up my first kit from Woolworths when I was about 10 and I taught myself. The thing I love about flosstube is, it makes me feel connected to other people that think like I do. I recently went on a cruise, and I took my stitching and my halo light, and set up on one of the sea days and stitched. I was impressed with how many people approached me and asked me what I was doing and looked at what I was doing, and some people shared stories of how their mothers or their grandmothers stitched. Some people including one gentleman that worked on the ship told me that him and his wife do Disney stitches. Overall, it was a very good experience.
