“If you a beast in here, you a beast in life” LFG man, I’m 6 months into my fitness journey and I’ve noticed many aspects of my life starting to improve, from cognitive abilities to mindset to relationships. Not only is Brad’s content entertaining, but it’s so dam motivational. You the man Brad!!
Mike rashid is the man. Good to see him and brad connecting. Mike has been doing events with Billy Carson who is also a legend. Brad, Billy, mike all together of raw talk. Make it happen!
I just love how you guys do videos these days man. You, Alex and the twins etc. Back in the day, if you're watching a fitness video, all you gat was dudes working out, nowadays you get real talk too, and that's a very important element in all this because if you're down mentally, your body is likely going to be in a bad place too, and that's something that needs to be addressed a lot.
Loved the motivation, dealt with some seasonal depression, practicing gratitude and forcing myself to go to the gym has gotten me out of it! Thanks for the motivation and content 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
The relationship fall off and the depression conversation is where I’m at, I have more motivation than ever to get back and keep pushing for things that make me happy in life. And it’s also nice that other people around the world have gone through the same shit but are coming back from it 💪❤️
The mix of different perspectives and flavors of content in this video was on another level. It speaks to what happens when you let things be organic, while also having a framework to build off of. Great stuff, Bradley.
Brad videos really be so inspirational. You don't see any of these other content creators but maybe a handful that talk just as much about life and lessons as working out and gym content. Bro changing perspectives everyday for the better
Totally agree ! Covid pandemic knocked me on my ass. Struggling to climb back up that mountain. Trying to focus on the journey, not the destination and be patient. You guys are beasts !! Both of you keep doing what you’re doing
Bro wtf, the second part of this video 10:59 arounf here. I feel this part sooooo heavily. I used to be the most disciplined person and had the best mindset. I used to track my macros and be on top of my health/fitness goals. Since summer 2021 the pst year and a half I lost track of my foundations like they said. I started to doubt myself and that’s where it started to go downhill, and part of that is because of weed, I’ve been smoking weed pretty consistently ever since then. I lost track of myself and my foundation, but last week I don’t know what it was something hit me. I started watching a lot of David goggins and he changed my mindset, I got my old mindset back, I feel so much better now and then today I saw this video and it stuck with me now I just wonder if this is a sign.
Can fully relate to what that guy was saying. Fell off my sh*t hard last year due to a relationship but we back on it now! 4 Weeks sober and smashing gym consistently, new job, new goals. Time to level up!
@Track- lash I mean I agree with you, but I’m very lean and I lift 5 days a week, but I hate it how I can only get the 100lb. Dumbbells up on flat bench 3-4 times while I see chodie choderson repping them 8-10 times on shoulder press. I want to be stronger but I have long arms and it’s just really hard even if I push myself to a healthy limit everytime I’m at the gym. I look good, but I don’t want to get stuck only being this strong.
@@xdd543 dude hes using 100 dbs on flat press he is strong af already lmao dont let him put himself down like that. bro lets chodie choderson bother him give me a break,
I've always thought about it like this: strength comes with being shredded. The only time you would really need to work on getting crazy strong is if you compete or are some sort of social media influencer so you can set yourself apart. But yea, I will choose being lean over strong just because you're likely healthier and probably look stronger too just based off what ppl see on the street or what
I have not accepted a lot of things that have been negatively happening in my life and I have been pushing back help because I want to fo it myself and Bradley has made me seek therapy and open me to journaling because I do need to consistently climb. Thank you
I think if your are shredded them you’re probably also athletic so it might help in self defense too especially if you go learn how to fight then you’re athletic and know how to fight it’s a done deal
Started out wanting to be shredded but you quickly realize you want strength. Not a fat powerlifting vibe but more focus on strength. Being lean frickin suckssssss tbh
Depends on the person’s personal goal. Tbh, most people care WAY too much about what others think. I’m a powerlifter and care about strength 100% over aesthetics although I’m about 17% body fat and still look decent. I don’t give a shit about impressing others and damn sure don’t care about impressing a girl because that’s the opposite of why I lift for strength.
at the point where they start talking about real life shit and always try to do better and not be anybody else but yourself...that's a perfect example of why we as men want and try to be stronger and are always seen as someone that's "supposed" to be strong.
1. Who are you planning on fighting and fickin up in you life 2. Being strong does not mean you can fight. So being lean and learning to fight is the way
Love your videos brad. Watch Raw Talk almost everyday hands down best podcast on UA-cam in my humble opinion. Hope u see this. Keep going you’re only getting bigger and better 💯
I feel like they're phrasing it that the choice is to be either weak and lean or strong and chubby. In reality when bodybuilders go on a cut they're losing 5-10% of their strength only. I think if they asked it that way - would you rather be aesthetic but only be 90% as strong, or not aesthetic but be at 100% strength I think the answers would largely go to being lean/aesthetic. Let's face it Brad at 90%-95% strength is still plenty strong.
I'd rather be lean so I can be quick and athletic. No point in being a world strongman if I'm slow and lethargic when's time to move from point A to point B faster than the opposition
Aesthetics are more appealing to the average lifter considering they are not competitors or athletes and don’t really need to be strong. Athletes that do compete like powerlifters all the way to fighters, most definitely need strength as opposed to making sure every body part they have is aesthetically pleasing and proportionate

Everyone is trying to be both. Only way to achieve both is to be super patient. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

Lean, I don’t have to be the strongest person but I feel like working out to be lean you’ll relatively strong anyway. But I’d train to look good.
