- Hello and welcome to the lunchtime crew's My Hero Academia Chapter Review! This is my review of the recent happenings in the newest My Hero Academia Manga Chapter. And with it we learn about the fates of Aizawa, Present Mic and Kurogiri after their fatal fall and disappearance, as well as a twist in this final battle that may just change Eri as we know her!

Ngl, I LOVE how Eri is handled. Horikoshi took what was more or less a plot device, and made it into one of the most endearing characters in the series.
She is what star and stripe failed to be written as
It also fits into the overarching theme. A true hero gives up/sacrifices power.

This chapter was peak even though it was a set up chapter and gotta say I didn’t know Eri’s quirk could work like that though it does make sense since the quirk itself does come from the horn and Eri having a horn left means that it does have some energy in it and from the looks of things once the horn gets cut of it just constantly emits the Rewind energy until it pierces someone where it transfers the energy on to them rewinding them. And I like Eri’e dream and that explains why Jiro was blushing in that panel she probably felt both embarrassed and flattered that Eri idolized her.
We've seen from the quirk erasure bullets that all it takes is her DNA to activate.

Well, it's like john said, It takes her DNA to activate, so it makes sense that using her horn on deku would work

Yeah first Sero, Ojiro, and Sato return now Mineta, Kaminari, Momo, Shoji and Koda has return to help Deku next will be Aoyama and Hagakure then Tsuyu, Kirishima, Mina and Jiro will return too since Mineta and several heroes from Gunga has recovered and now I’m waiting when will they bring back Tokoyami, Iida, Shoto, Bakugo and last but not least Ochaco but right now they need to be recovered from their wounds first in order for them to return to help Deku win since now it’s Heroes vs “All For One” the real final battle and Deku did say This is the story of how we all become the world greatest heroes!!
@@Rjay0922 I think especially bakugou Ochaco and Shoto are far to hurt along with tokoyami not to sure abt the rest but at least some of the “less popular” characters are getting the recognition they deserve
@@L0v3g00d. When this battle is over and if Ochaco, Shoto, Bakugo and the rest of Class 1-A all recovers from their injuries and see Deku armless even got his rewind hand back but it’s only temporary and then now back to armless imagine that reaction coming

Look at Mineta man. So inspirational. Time to rewatch MHA again 😭
For real him and sero slowly became two of my favorites side characters in this arc they got little attention throughout the manga and anime but when it really mattered they shown up. It was Mineta saving Tokoyami from his quirk being taken and sero who saved Izuku from getting killed at the end of last chapter.

Yeah but now I don’t know how long will it take her to grow her horn back and I know she’s not allowed to go to the battlefield or save heroes who are either injured or dying cause I know only doctors are supposed to treat their injuries
@@Rjay0922yh true even if she wanted to help the hero’s she couldn’t do much cus her quirk is not fully controlled and she ditint’ to have enough energy too but atleast it was enough to help deku and her sacrifice will never be forgotten

I actually am very annoyed that Eri had to be the one who restored Izuku. Honestly i was kind of hoping that Tenko in his last moments in the vestige world and seeing what AFO set him up to be, passed a few quirks to Izuku. Namely hyper regeneratation, danger sense, and maybe a few others.
I must say, that this chapter, Aizawa was goat.
I'm glad to see Deku get his arms back, it really hurt my heart to see him without them.
The manga will definitely end in May (possibly June or July)
This is how I see it and the answer can be chosen whether it ends on May or June or July
1. May is chapters 422-424
2. June is chapters 425-427
3. July is chapters 428-431

Let's be real the only reason Horikoshi took Izuku's arms is because he realized "oh crap I've got a handful of characters that haven't done anything cool this entire arc" and needed to fridge Deku to let them shine

I hate when the writers did thoes things Eri's horn Overhaul's hands Shigaraki' death Toga's death Aizawa's leg and a lot of other things making me feel bad what's wrong with you Horikoshi😂😢
I kinda wished that he somehow relied on his legs, even for an extra chapter or so, because it would be an amazing callback to how he constantly broke his arms at the beginning so he learned how to use his legs, then again he probably would have died. I’m not upset with how he got it back, I just wished that a pro hero didn’t help a child to cut off a horn, and I wished that they had mentioned that her quirk could do something like that before hand rather than seemingly push it out, because even if her quirk had other ways like the bullets, there was a low indication that her horn alone could work.
But let’s just take a moment to appreciate how Eri has grown, also her calling Bakugou Kacchan! ❤❤❤❤
100% Deku is going to use his legs while he waits for his arms to fully restore and I don't think Aizawa helped Eri cut her horn off, she did it herself and it would be a waste if they didn't use it.

I see Sero, Ojiro, Sato, Mineta, Kaminari, Momo, Shoji and Koda has return to help Deku next will be Aoyama, Hagakure, Tsuyu, Jiro, Kirishima and Mina and as for Tokoyami, Iida, Shoto, Bakugo and Ochaco they’ll be last cause they’re still in their horrible injuries and needs to recover right away in order them to return to help Deku and Heroes vs All For One will be another long fight and Deku did say This is the story of how we all become the world greatest heroes!!

I predicted eri power coming into play, but I a bit disappointed about how soon this happened, I thought eri will do something after the war. But with eri horn hear, Deku might want to put it on shigaraki, if he gets rewinded then all for one will disappear and shigaraki will come back. And I don’t think that rewind effects people memories.
Okay, cool, but that doesn't make sense. He has no arms he would have died And trust me, those extras that came in. They weren't gonna save him kind of wrote himself into a corner with that injury Cause no matter what you do unless you fix the problem. Right after it doesn't make sense for him to survive. He has no arms no power

You always sum up the chapters best and i appreciate that However I had hope, i really did that somewhat later on it would be different but it isn't every thing that led up to this can STILL be sum up to what I've said before...Cmon it should be painfully obvious by now...well lets play a game shall we, im not being sarcastic -Count the number of scenes in pages through out BNHA were the heroes have the advantage over the villains and and do the same with the villains-Isn't it that when it seems the villains might fight back-I know even you have read between the lines-AFO Never had a chance cuz he's written to be predictable and thats exactly what the heroes were counting on.I will sum up what i interpret what the heroes plans was from the beginning. It was ALWAYS from the first battle, when they fought the villains, it may look like they just wanted to capture all the villains but its more than that-Its for Twice and Gigant-Hawks knows it would be difficult to get someone like Dabi, but it is VERY CRUTIAL that they get twice, cuz the heroes are WRITTEN to learn from their battles unlike AFO, and they know Karagiri and twice were MOSTLY used in their previous encounters and they may not have powerful quirks but are very important non-the less..I think you can figure out where all MY lets say disagreement with the writing started-it was when Momo did what she did to Gigant...I will NEVER forgive her and with NO HUMOUR that i tell you, I have the manga vol till 36 but the vol where she did what she did i get it locked separated from the rest, she needs to be accountable for her illegal action.This final fight all AFO actions are written like he is a fool not a dangerous mastermind that had lived for a long time.Think about this- It never occur to him that MAYBE the heroes would use a tactic that has been around for centuries to defeat him?That he never consider thought his "Air quote" genius mind that his two greatest accepts that he has showcase throught out the feaking story would be used against him??I now would point out key aspects of the final war that I think you too have notice but just kept at the back of your mind-1.Notice in vol36 there is a page with a view of the trap for shikaraki- notice anything? yes it it far from the mainland BUT close enough for a certain Sniper hero to use her quirk, and what did we conveniently see later on? AFO with his brilliant mind never once thought what will happen if his comrades get captured and how convenient it is that the heroes HAPPEN to have a brainwasher quirk user which comes to my MOST important fact-The heroes knows about his reversing quirk-they were banking on it-the whole plan was forcing him to use iy as quickly as possible before he intended to use it.Thats why all the heroes went to his location to put as much pressure on him as possible-and what did we see happens? He was force to fall in their trap-lets back up and talk about another convenient aspect of the plan that is written for the heroes-They have faced Gigant and like i said before learnt from their mistakes-That is why the brainwash user was at that location with Mt. Lady to face him-They knew might would not take him down so they use cunning which again AFO lacks significantly-They knew time was of the essence and the fastest way to beat him is TO USE HIM-Again the heroes are NO FREAKING BETTER than the villains at how they treat him-look what happen to him...Hawks even though battered and bruise along with the rest of them know they have done what they said out to do, all they needed now was time-How VERY VERY convenient it is that AFO hatred for All might cloud his rational thinking and thus leads to his ultimate demise...All shikaraki does through out this battle is some what defend himself, sure he was still dangerous and almost killed Bakugo and look thought ALL the manga panels again and tell me if the process of the story isn't like this- The heroes gets the upperhand all through the fight-When it seems that it might shift to the villain's-an aspect comes along and thrashes that-Even now what do we see happens? The bane of the villans ALL Through out the story lives and is STILL a bane to them-but oh noooo AFO don't take out one of the recourses of the heroes who has always help in thwarting our plan and is doing it now with the help of our own like i said another important aspects of AFO plan Karakiri...Also raise hands everyone who KNEW Eri is somehow gonna lets say the magic word together CONVENIENTLY help gets Delu hand back when AGAIN it seems like for a FREAKING few panels all hope is lost but nooo we would always extend an olive branch to the heroes in our writing..

First they save Bakugo making his death meaningless, then they save All Might making that whole prophecy meaningless, then they save Deku making him losing his arms meaningless... Gotta love the horrible marvel writing.
His death was meaningless from the get go he never really saved anyone💀. Have u seen Naruto kid? Naruto was saved by Sakura with a open heart surgery just like edgeshot. Seen one piece? This is just shonen writing. Deku still lost his quirk? So there is consequence?
@@denji3397Naruto.... Jiraya, Itachi, third hokage, Asuma, Neji, Rin, Chiyo all those deaths was meaningless when it was those death's that made Naruto good? Literally Rin's death pushed the plot forward. And going to one piece Ace? Whitebeard? Sanji? And believe me MHA writer will find a way for deku to get OFA back, that's just the writing. Zero consequence, no big impact, no big chock value since you know it will be "fixed" in future chapters.
I love that mineta is there, say what you will about the man, but mans went from a coward in the first villain fight to squaring up to the big boss even when hes injured to high hell, like theres pros who quit when things got hard but mineta still always chugged along.

Ok. I was sad we couldn't save/redeem any of the other villains. But... this was what I wanted for my boys ❤ they kinda saved Shirakumo and everyone liked that. I hope maybe they'll find a way to actually save him. Also Eri ❤ she is such a sweet little darling and I love her so much😢 and the fact Kaminari is the only one basically uninjured but has already beyond short circuited is hilarious to me... 😅
