This chapter made me think that the theory that AFO gave Decay to Tenko is true and there might be something more to it and if AFO came back in the world of vestiges and now appearing in memories that don't appear to be Tenko's that made me think that one more theory might happen, if I'm not mistaken, Shiggy has the original AFO (quirk) while the other one had a copy, so this could be the reason why the AFO appeared there and if Tenko, upon learning the whole truth, decides to join Midoriya to get rid of the AFO in the vestiges? Then Midoriya could recover the other Quirks from OFA and have an internal struggle while trying to protect and save Tenko, just theorizing here

This chapter reminded me of one of the many reasons I liked Deku as a character, and it also gave many layers to my boy Shigaraki, showed how much he cared for his comrades, and showed that deep down he still wanted to be a hero because one of the reasons he wanted to destroy everything was to be a hero for his comrades, and I really love that. And then there is AFO. I will admit that I was one of the people who believed he was gone for good, but part of me did see his vestige coming in when Deku was about to save Shiggy to try and ruin everything. I don’t hate it. Some might think this ruins what Shiggy did in Chapter 379, but that doesn't mean the only reason the vestige returned was because Deku weakened Shiggy mentally. Now the thing I’m most interested in is that flashback with Kotaro. Some might believe that this is the reveal of AFO giving Shigaraki Decay, and some might think it ruins Shigaraki’s character, which it doesn't; it only adds more to it, but this made me think of a different theory. If AFO didn’t give Shigaraki Decay but returned it to him in the flashback, Kotaro is much younger, so I’m going to assume that Tenko was like two to four years old, and what If Tenko showed signs of having a quirk and Kotaro was the only one who noticed because he does talk about Tenko’s quirk in the flashback, he realized how great Decay would be for hero work because, while yes, Decay is dangerous, it’s also really good for rescue work, and Tenko/Tomura could have been a great hero with Decay, so what if Kotaro, not knowing who AFO was, asked him to take Decay from Tenko/Tomura to prevent him from being a hero and AFO returned Decay to Tomura when he returned him home?

If the mysterious man is indeed All For One, what's the point of having so many contingencies such as Dabi and the other children who eventually lost their quirks to him or ended up becoming one of the Nomu? I mean, he was so investing in turning Tenko into Shigaraki so much in order to get back at All Might by rubbing it in his face that he successfully corrupted Nana's grandson to the point that having others as the candidates for his vessel seemed to be not important at all. And if he truly prioritized finding the right vessels for himself, he should not be picky, let alone investing so much into turning Tenko into Shigaraki in the first place because the possibility of the other candidates surpassing Tenko is possible as well.
AFO is vindictive and will do anything to get back at the OFA wielders. He was fine with kidnapping Bakugo because he knew how mad it would make Almight. He went after Tenko because he knew it would destroy Nana. Sure, there were probably better vessels, but it wouldn't be as satisfying for AFO to pass his quirks onto a nobody when he could corrupt poor Tenko.

This chapter makes me even more interested in Kotaro. After reading this chapter and re-reading the other chapters he was in it seems more likely he wasn’t actively trying to get AFO ‘to take Tenkos quirk’ like some people are theorizing. And if he did have something to do with Tenkos quirk it was something else. Like taking a pill himself that made it less likely for his kids to have quirks, etc. Which I feel slightly doesn’t make sense cause he’s not against quirks just heroes, and Hana is older and has her quirk. Kotaro is described as being successful at an early age and I feel he’s smart enough to know, even with his dislike of heroes that kids are going to play and want to be a hero in this hero based society, and though it annoyed him and he didn’t want them talking about heroes he was slightly more lenient about it before Tenko turned 5. Because usually after they get their quirk most people will give up on being a hero. Hana made an excuse about being a housewife which he seemed to accept, and like Hana said Tenko could still become a hero he just needed to make up some bs to tell his dad to get him off his back. To me it seems like Kotaro was worried about Tenko possibly not having a quirk. And that even though he was 5 and didn’t have a quirk yet (most got it at 4) he still wasn’t giving up wanting to be a hero. With the grandparents even mentioning he’d been more harsh lately, implying he wasn’t as bad before. Kind of like how Deku didn’t give up wanting to be a hero even when everyone told him to stop and Bakugou bullied him. And how trying to be a hero without a quirk was dangerous. He even mentioned how Tenko needs to give up on the hero dream cause his quirk hadn’t come when it should’ve and trying to be a hero was just going to bring about bad things. He freaked out when the picture of him and his mom was looked at and lashed out, the grandparents noted he was being more harsh lately and the picture was a tipping point. And after some reflecting even admitted he went too far with hitting Tenko, with his wife and her parents finally sticking up for Tenko. Which makes the situation sadder cause things were going to finally change. From the bits we’re given of him he really did want a happy family and before they all died it seemed like something really was going to change. He definitely needed to chill tf out over the hero thing but I’d don’t think he actively tried to have Tenkos quirk taken away like some people are hypothesizing.
So All For One really HAS been the one pulling the strings from the very beginning. He implanted “Decay” into Tenko’s father so he would pass it down to one of his children, the one who would become his vessel.
Imagine AFO just orchestrating League of Villains like: Yeeting that bird to Toga's backyard. Firing Twice. He did took Touya for Garaki and patched him into Dabi. Transfering decay to Tenko. Cyberbullying Spinner.

You know it’s not shocking that AFO vestige would appear. If all of the OFA users vestiages appeared it’s no reason that AFO vestige shouldn’t appear as well. I think it’s obvious that Kotaro was talking to AFO. It seems like it’s possible he was the one that gave Tenko decay meaning he pretty much indirectly destroyed and kill Tenko entirely family. Once again AFO has ruined the lives of the OFA users and their families. It’s cool to see Tomura still cares about the league of villians and that he has to be a hero for them because they did in a way looked up to him as a leader due to how their backgrounds were mostly similar. AFO is irredeemable scum, and if he's the reason Shigaraki became the villain he is today it would make sense. Shigaraki is more sympathetic than AFO and we've followed his journey longer, and because of that, he's more enjoyable to watch. People will root for sympathetic villains, and Shigaraki could still get redemption. Say what you want about BNHA's writing, but it's cohesive and quite good, whether you like the story the way it is or not.

It looks like Midoriya succeeded in weakening Shigaraki’s resolve, and making him realize maybe he didn’t have to destroy everything to be the hero he always wanted, but this resulted in AFO retaking Shigaraki’s body because Shigi’s hate is no longer strong enough to block him out.
If I had to guess the ending of this fight Deku will not only manage to destroy the vestage of All for one but Shigaraki as well leaving only Tenko, and as a result Shugaraki's body changes one last time turning into Tenko. On top of that because of everything that happened prior to this moment Tenko ends up with One for all (or at least the quirks of the original seven users), while Deku ends up quirkless again (or if it's revealed that his father was one of All for one's pawns, and every quirk that was ever stolen by All for one returns, Deku gets his original quirk back (but this one is a huge stretch)). With the series ending on Deku training Tenko to use One for all at UA. This is what I think will happen, but of course I could be wrong.
I wonder if decay could be used to target and destroy quirk genes in humans. If so Eri and Deku if he gets decay could erase quirks from the mha universe.

This chapter is really bad, afo is the final boss, and shiagraki is on his way to being evangelized. afo manipulates everything and that damages the structure of the villain character, his return and ending is still pathetic This chapter for many reasons is not amazing, it is the most disappointing
Come on it was damn obvious that this happens. He always had the control, it finally makes Sense that he did the big Suicide rewind thing as Vestiges are stronger when the Person dies, it makes Sense that he took so long to reach his Destination and didnt Go all out just as a distraction. He was always the more Interesting and better antagonist, Shigaraki was merely a bad Joker Ripoff if even, which also makes Sense as he was supposed to be only a Tool die destruction with a weak mind. It all went as planend, potentially even better and that is definately Not a Bad thing. Actually this Chapter kinda redeems the Manga for me as it explains more or less all the stupid out of Character decisions of AFO with this ending.

Considering he never seemed to have a "I take your body now" Power at all and that most Vestiges seem to be exact copies after the body dies, memories feelings and the oportunity to learn included (Hawks out of that rule, that was just breaking the established World rules for the sake of plot) and the fact he ran into his Ruin with Open eyes despite it being completely unnescessary can mean that this was the Plan all the Time. To die so he can live. And as Heroes usually dont kill, that whole Action was a Failsafe move to ensure the victory. Also we dont know if he just returned because the mental defense broke, considering it was just like 20-30 seconds in universe between his death and return

Kotaro is described as being successful at an early age and I feel he’s smart enough to know, even with his dislike of heroes that kids are going to play and want to be a hero in this hero based society, and though it annoyed him and he didn’t want them talking about heroes he was slightly more lenient about it before Tenko turned 5. Because usually after they get their quirk most people will give up on being a hero. Hana made an excuse about being a housewife which he seemed to accept, and like Hana said Tenko could still become a hero he just needed to make up some bs to tell his dad to get him off his back.
To me it seems like Kotaro was worried about Tenko possibly not having a quirk. And that even though he was 5 and didn’t have a quirk yet (most got it at 4) he still wasn’t giving up wanting to be a hero. With the grandparents even mentioning he’d been more harsh lately, implying he wasn’t as bad before. Kind of like how Deku didn’t give up wanting to be a hero even when everyone told him to stop and Bakugou bullied him. And how trying to be a hero without a quirk was dangerous. He even mentioned how Tenko needs to give up on the hero dream cause his quirk hadn’t come when it should’ve and trying to be a hero was just going to bring about bad things.
He freaked out when the picture of him and his mom was looked at and lashed out, the grandparents noted he was being more harsh lately and the picture was a tipping point. And after some reflecting even admitted he went too far with hitting Tenko, with his wife and her parents finally sticking up for Tenko. Which makes the situation sadder cause things were going to finally change.
From the bits we’re given of him he really did want a happy family and before they all died it seemed like something really was going to change. He definitely needed to chill tf out over the hero thing but I’d don’t think he actively tried to have Tenkos quirk taken away like some people are hypothesizing.
So All For One really HAS been the one pulling the strings from the very beginning. He implanted “Decay” into Tenko’s father so he would pass it down to one of his children, the one who would become his vessel.
Maybe passing on afo makes it stronger like ofa?

You know it’s not shocking that AFO vestige would appear. If all of the OFA users vestiages appeared it’s no reason that AFO vestige shouldn’t appear as well.
I think it’s obvious that Kotaro was talking to AFO. It seems like it’s possible he was the one that gave Tenko decay meaning he pretty much indirectly destroyed and kill Tenko entirely family.
Once again AFO has ruined the lives of the OFA users and their families.
It’s cool to see Tomura still cares about the league of villians and that he has to be a hero for them because they did in a way looked up to him as a leader due to how their backgrounds were mostly similar.

Kotaro I understand that he spoke with Afo, but they tricked him, I mean every piece for the conflict to exist was always Afo, the external factors were Afo, and this bothers me, plus it removes the structure as a villain and a worse ending than Shigaraki's body die, this is not cooking, this is breaking down many things 2/10, sharing memories, mistake after mistake

AFO is irredeemable scum, and if he's the reason Shigaraki became the villain he is today it would make sense. Shigaraki is more sympathetic than AFO and we've followed his journey longer, and because of that, he's more enjoyable to watch.
People will root for sympathetic villains, and Shigaraki could still get redemption.
Say what you want about BNHA's writing, but it's cohesive and quite good, whether you like the story the way it is or not.

It looks like Midoriya succeeded in weakening Shigaraki’s resolve, and making him realize maybe he didn’t have to destroy everything to be the hero he always wanted, but this resulted in AFO retaking Shigaraki’s body because Shigi’s hate is no longer strong enough to block him out.

If I had to guess the ending of this fight Deku will not only manage to destroy the vestage of All for one but Shigaraki as well leaving only Tenko, and as a result Shugaraki's body changes one last time turning into Tenko.
On top of that because of everything that happened prior to this moment Tenko ends up with One for all (or at least the quirks of the original seven users), while Deku ends up quirkless again (or if it's revealed that his father was one of All for one's pawns, and every quirk that was ever stolen by All for one returns, Deku gets his original quirk back (but this one is a huge stretch)).
With the series ending on Deku training Tenko to use One for all at UA.
This is what I think will happen, but of course I could be wrong.
I wonder if decay could be used to target and destroy quirk genes in humans. If so Eri and Deku if he gets decay could erase quirks from the mha universe.

This chapter for many reasons is not amazing, it is the most disappointing
Come on it was damn obvious that this happens. He always had the control, it finally makes Sense that he did the big Suicide rewind thing as Vestiges are stronger when the Person dies, it makes Sense that he took so long to reach his Destination and didnt Go all out just as a distraction.
He was always the more Interesting and better antagonist, Shigaraki was merely a bad Joker Ripoff if even, which also makes Sense as he was supposed to be only a Tool die destruction with a weak mind. It all went as planend, potentially even better and that is definately Not a Bad thing.
Actually this Chapter kinda redeems the Manga for me as it explains more or less all the stupid out of Character decisions of AFO with this ending.

Considering he never seemed to have a "I take your body now" Power at all and that most Vestiges seem to be exact copies after the body dies, memories feelings and the oportunity to learn included (Hawks out of that rule, that was just breaking the established World rules for the sake of plot) and the fact he ran into his Ruin with Open eyes despite it being completely unnescessary can mean that this was the Plan all the Time. To die so he can live. And as Heroes usually dont kill, that whole Action was a Failsafe move to ensure the victory.
