- I can't get enough of the new Session map! This new Session schoolyard map is by far my favorite DLC that they've released. I've been having a ton of fun both on and off camera skating around and playing the new map. Something about the blend of real-world spots in addition to the fictional spots makes this one of my all time favorite Session maps.

Dope as always. Would try bumping up your gravity a few ticks. Helps dial out some of the floatiness and you can carry some more speed into rails and other obstacles without having to crater your pop height.
I think you need to up the gravity by about 3 (maybe a little more), then adjust pop height accordingly. I think once you switch to slightly higher gravity, you will be happier. Getting tricks like slides down El Toro will feel a lot more realistic. Also, turning Grinds Friction up on down/kinked rails is very helpful. Awesome vid as always!!
8:28 - in snowboarding/freeskiing we call that a pretzel, if you rotate the opposite way out of an obstacle (or even on an obstalcle which is called a switchup) very hard to do but it shows control and variety of your tricks which will get scored well in a competition
Played it for a bit and thought it was awesome but my pc is having issues rn and it keeps crashing everything so I gotta get it checked out
i dont know why, but in every session video the game audio is always so loud

Ive also been playing alot game is keeping me into skating honestly lol... That lock in on feebles and smith grinds so satisfying when you learn. you have to hold the dipping stick for the smith or the feeble you have to hold it lightly dont try to use force its like irl where you need precision more than force or repetition. which makes sense obviously but it takes getting used to i just got smiths and feebles down so well last night lololol.... and contrary to the dipping stick being held lightly you need to hold the five0 joystick completely down and slightly opposite to the direction your crossing your trucks over... that probably sounds reall ycomplicated im sorry but the game is insane lol

You can manually lower your pop height without adjusting the settings. Just crouch for less time (or pop quicker, depending how you look at it), and you'll pop less. If you basically flick the back foot down and release right away, you probably couldn't even pop over a curb.

Just master the Ollies on the default settings. It's honestly fine for everything.
You should play with the gravity, itl help make the game feel more realistic when you always change your pop height

You know it's an amazing map when Garrett can't even be bothered to change his shirt, let alone stop playing! Jp, brother! Check it, push back foot up and front foot down, you'll enter lip trick mode. That will allow you to slappy that little curb at @5:25

Side note: I personally don’t mind if you spend a long time battling a trick when exploring a new map. I feel empty when you don’t land it lol! I know you’re trying to cover the whole map in the initial video, but it’s satisfying seeing you land it!
For 5:15 try inputting after the drop off. With slappy stuff like that it's usually input later then you think(almost already on object) or else the first truck to be close to an edge will engage and not work as you intended. Hope that makes sense
There are also stairs that lead to the roof for some dope roof top gaps.

There are a ton of tricks you do in game that you mention you'd like to do IRL that are fairly reasonable to learn. Things like the back 180 switch 5-0 (or whatever it's proper name is). I'd love to see you learn them.
I think he can already do back 180 nosegrinds, but he says one of his dream tricks is backside flip nosegrind, which is a whole different level of fuckedness.
