      SD & the Jedi cadre guy are 2 of the best resources for modern pistol RDS, rear optic systems. The high 💲💲💲 price turns many away but as the units improve, more end users, armed officers will get them.

A few things to tweak there and there, but it's been relatively painless. Boy am I glad I did not skip it! Somehow this managed to address exactly what I needed to refine my red dot draw. I can't wait to apply it in dry fire tonight. Thanks Aaron!

  • @timbenham516
    @timbenham516 Рік тому

    I don't know if it works for anyone else but I use my primary hand to do most of the guidance like I'm pointing at the target, then I will switch it and use my support hand to do most the guidance. I find that my primary hand is more accurate, but I practice with both hands one at a time first a couple dozen times before I do a normal draw stroke with both hands guiding and have found it to help tremendously. I'm a guitarist so I have learned over the years to break it into smaller pieces and focus on one technique and one hand at a time until I don't have to think about it, and then bring both techniques together for synchronization and accuracy.I am no expert in shooting a rds at all but it might help others. Thanks for these invaluable videos.

    I was under the impression that you want the dot to drop from the 12 o'clock position into the center of the reticle. It seems to me that you're saying we should practice presenting the pistol perfectly level already. That way it's already on target as you're staging the trigger. That does sound ideal, but it would take tons and tons of practice to get there. Is having the dot drop from the top not a good introductory technique?
