I didn’t realize ferret lax was bad my 3 month old ferret had a little will she be okay and I use puppy pads what if the ferret was eats a little of the puppy pad? She didn’t yet I’m just asking just being curious
@@alliebenner3856 i recommend cutting off the blue part or switching to a litter box that is big enough to fit there whole body and i recommend using paper based litter
@@MaddieFoJesus she ate a little bit of ferret lax once will she be okay though didn’t realize babies or ferret couldn’t have it I’m new to ferrets still learning and oka I will switch to litter would it be an emergency if she eats it before I come back home today ?

That's a great question. Live feeding can be very stressful for all involved, and sometimes even the ferret can be harmed in the process. It's also not very natural at all, as the prey would have the ability to escape in a natural setting. I wouldn't do it and wouldn't recommend others to do so either! But this is just my opinion.

Hi. Can you give me a quick opinion on my homemade diet. I mince 40% red meat ( small animal) 10 % fat 30 % organs ( heart liver lung kidney tripe) 5% pure raw bone dust from bandsaw 5% egg shell dust 10% bone broth They get this most day but once a week I do chicken , a once a week whole wild rabbit. IV noticed very shinie cotes and great growth rate of kits. I also mix Luke warm water just prior to feeding. ??? Your thoughts

no it is not. ferrets require variety in their diet. on a chicken only diet they will be very deficient in multiple vitamins. chicken also contains way more omega-6 then omega-3 which will capsule chronic inflammation.

So i live in like an average room with my parents for the moment and I really wanna get a ferret would the smell be to bad ? + Is it okay if I get a ferret while i HV a hamster and a guinea pig and cats (cats doesn't come to my room at all anyways but still )?
I have a small/medium sized room. At times just one ferret poop can smell the room. We use paper pellets for litter and try to change it out everyday otherwise my room will smell bad.
ferrets are very social animals so you need at least two! I would not recommend keeping ferrets near hamsters/ guinea pigs. the smell of the ferret will stress out the prey animals and if the ferret gets to them they will try to kill them. an average room will not be enough free roam space but is okay as a “home base” if the ferrets are allowed in other parts of the house. they will definitely smell up more easily if kept in one room.

Yes you can feed meat from the butcher! Right now I get most meats locally :) but you can order online for more $$.

Your ferret can potentially kill your hampster/guinea pig. They are rodents and the ferret may hunt it.
