ADP, along with ATN (though not as much), increases a secondary stat called Agility, which in turn determines how many dodge roll i-frames you get as well as how quickly you can use items such as your estus flask. It's recommended to get ADP to at least 20, though 30 is even better. Around that point you hit the softcap for Agility and you'll have to invest a lot more to eke out a single additional dodge i-frame. DS2 is great. It does have its share of jank, but it has a lot of really cool stuff that sadly never returned in later games.

The fact that enemies disappear permanently. The fact that I have Scholar of the First Sin, but for some reason all the enemy placement is still using the base game placement is weird. Cuz my ex showed me his version and its basically a totally different feel since he had different enemies in different places. The fact your health drops more after each death.
There's something that just wrong to me when I play this game. And I get so frustrated because I struggle with this game in ways I know I shouldn't and just cant figure out why. You can FEEL that it was made by a different team. Because they were making Bloodborne when this was being made.
I think what happened was DS was struggling to make it to mainstream. So they had the better members working on something else. While the B team made this. This is what happened with Wo Long. Team Ninja pulled most of their staff to make Rise of the Ronin. And Wo Long has suffered because of it.
Luckily, most of DS2 is not canon. They knew to leave MOST of this crap where it belongs. As the forgotten middle child of the three. lmao
i love ds2, its not forgiving
SotFS is ass, I'm so sorry you're gonna have to go through the "amazing" changes they made to the game from DS2
i like sotfs, it makes you play slow and pay attention at you surrounds, and i think that goes well with the slow combat of ds2.
Dark Souls 2? I'd call it Gank Souls 2
No.... Just no
you need to play OG dark souls 2, not DS2SOTFS
I feel like this game gets way too much hate tbh. I personally love it, the death is less punishing than demon souls, you don’t instantly get half your health taken. The variation of the level designs is the strongest in this game imo not counting elden ring
The rolling, healing, etc are BS. It is far and away the worst DS game.
@@maxmaxwell343 skill issue honestly

Ah yes. The cry of the DS fanboy who can’t accept criticism of their favourite game. I’ve played every Soulsborne game - OG Demon’s Souls, DS, DS2, DS3c BB, Demon’s Souls remake - and Elden Ring to completion with multiple characters to varying NG+ cycles, but my criticism of DS2 must be a skill issue because you’re a man child and can’t accept criticism of a game you play. 😂😂😂 💩head
Dark Souls 2 is DS1 coded by fentanyl users
Change my mind
😂😉
ahhh no is this first sin?
Tje beginning of this game writes checks the rest of the game is too broke to cash

"Why do I think everything is a dog?" - Guy whose first Souls game was Elden Ring
I don't know, man. It's a mystery to me.
Sorry, but this is not easy ring or roll souls 3 😂
top
dark soul 2 is soooo bad xDDD
Rolling does work, but there's timing and aiming, from what i remember rolling into an incoming attack would still give you damage (someone correct me if i'm wrong, it's been a while since I played it)
The base roll is just awful, you need to level up ADP or ATN to increase agility and that gives you I-frames (without altering the roll animation mind you).
Also many hitboxes are broken or linger for too long.
why do you sound like your are dead from the inside
1:45 this happened because of ds2's. shit 4 directional movement. You were locked forward and you need to move the joysticks at least 45° for you character to start turning. Enjoy the rest of the game 😂😂😂
ds2 so bad haha
ds2 bad
have you heard how bad ds2 is?
I think not so let me tell you - ds2 is bad
haha bad game so bad

Grad you are having fun.
This game is ass, if you keep at it just spam lifegems, they stack, you can carry 99 and move while using them, you can outheal almost anything if you keep popping them.
Hehe easy bosses he said. As Golem would say. You will see... o yessss you will seeeee... hehehehe
