I love Nina so much. There is this beautiful, childlike, sweet spirit about her. She is a tender soul, even if she sings in a deep, throaty voice that some think sounds like she is possessed. She isn't possessed. She is very intelligent, she has had her music career her entire adult life and she has achieved a great deal of success internationally. She is exceptionally gifted musically, but she is also sometimes misunderstood. She is a legend.
You just defined what really captivated me when I was 6 years old and I watched her for the first time with this tv performance...and I didn't speak a word of english at that time...but I just saw a powerful love being that trully fed my soul...and even though her voice at that time deserved a live performance, I've realized during all these years how fascinating these playback performances were....because her presence on stage was even more free and creative...She has been just so necessary on Earth
